A vous de la minimiser comme bon vous semble en l'adaptant au pays visité, à votre profil de santé, votre équipage, etc. Il est vrai qu'on peut tout trouver à l'étranger... encore faut-il se faire comprendre, trouver une officine de confiance et éviter de s'y pointer quand c'est fermé... ce n'est pas forcément facile partout.
Perso ma trousse fait 5 cm d'épaisseur et a la taille d'une 1/2 page A4. Ce n'est pas si énorme. En +, si vous êtes malins et n'emportez pas les boites de médocs, ça s'optimise.
Je vous livre la boîte à outils, utilisez ce qui vous semble opportun.

Elle est pas mal, votre liste...🙂A chacun de l'adapter selon ses besoins.
Quelques petits détails:l'eau oxygénée ne se conserve pas très bien à la chaleur et n'est pas un bon antiseptique. Des compresses imprégnées d'une solution à base de chlorhexidine ou de Bétadine ne sont pas encombrantes et sont plus pratiques pour désinfecter les petits bobos.pour les maux de gorge, prenez un produit contenant un anesthésique local surtout (pour calmer la douleur...) et un antiseptique.
Selon les besoins, on peut rajouter:une crème solaire écran total (ou un produit type Biafine)des comprimés de désinfection de l'eauun hypnotique type Stilnox (pour les premières nuits de décalage horaire...)un thermomètre médical...un kit de matériel médical à usage unique (seringues, aiguilles, ..) qui se trouve dans le commerce ou sur Internet

Perso, en 20 ans de voyages, bien sûr je sais quels médicaments je dois emporter. Et je trouve qu'il vaut mieux être prudent que risquer de passer des moments désagréables parce qu'on est malade et que l'on n'avait pas prévu d'emporter tel ou tel médoc. Surtout si on est dans un endroit isolé où les pharmacies sont inexistantes.
Faut voir aussi dans certains endroits la touche des médicaments !

je suis à aurillac et toulouse, ça peut vouis éviter de racheter une boite de 12 si le compte n'est pas exact!

N'empêche plus je voyage plus ma pharmacie grossit. En France, je n'ai jamais rien mais dès que je voyage, j'attrape toujours une bronchite (merci la clim dans les avions et les bus et merci les clopes) ou un petit bobo qui te pourrit la vie et après tu peux plus te baigner parce que ça s'infecte. Tout dépend où on va. "Tu trouves de tout partout" que nenni! Je pense à des villages au fin fond du trou du cul du monde où j'étais bien contente d'avoir ma petite pharmacie et puis souvent j'ai eu l'occasion de soigner des gens dans ces pays où il n'y a rien, bien contente aussi.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
