en mai dernier, j'ai voulu retirer l'équivalent de 200E au distributeur automatique d'une banque à Zagora : non seulement je n'ai pas reçu l'argent mais en plus mon compte a été débité !
Depuis plus de 2 mois je me "bats" avec la banque (appels téléphoniques, fax+l'intervention de mes amis sur place) pour obtenir mon remboursement avec preuves à l'appui : ticket du distributeur avec mention "transaction non valide", extrait de mon relevé de compte.
L'agence de Zagora me renvoie sur la banque centrale à Casa.... qui n'a toujours pas fait le nécessaire à ce jour 😠
Question : Quelqu'un pourrait-il me dire à quelle instance je peux m'adresser pour obtenir gain de cause vu que ça ne bouge pas ?

Plus sérieusement, vous avez essayé avec votre banque, avec les preuves que vous avez il doit y avoir des conventions entre banques, ou le service contentieux, peut-être que ça peut débloquer la situation(en s'adressant directement à leur direction centrale).
Il se peut aussi que votre propre banque ait des participations dans cet organisme bancaire.J'avoue qu'il y a de ces complications pas possible, j' ai reçu le salaire de quelqu'un sur mon compte, je le signale à la banque réponse: c'est la banque émettrice du virement qui doit le reclamer avant qu'on ne le débite de votre compte!du coup l'argent est toujours là depuis...un an!invraissemblable non?
autre cas(à retenir)mon fils veut faire un retrait un samedi(départ dimanche), carte capturée, il faut attendre lundi.plus de carte plus de sous, dépannage, tractations(heureusement même nom+pcopie du billet, pp ..etc et trouver qlq pour la lui remettre.
...et ça n'arrive pas qu' aux autres!

désolé , je ne pense pas que ça relève de l'arnaque, d'un dysfonctionnement du GAB oui, suivi de procédures "normales"car les agences sont aussi reliées à leur "CENTRALE" pour resoudre ce problème d'erreur du système. Le GAB ne connait ni amr ni zaid ni dupont.
c'est des choses qui arrivent, quand on est sur place , on râle , on fait bouger les choses, pour julieetta c'est plus facheux et on est désolé pour elle car cela doit avoir gaché ses vacances.

Je suis desolée à mon tour mais c'est exactement le même problème elle a effectué un retrait, n'a pas eu l'argent et s'est fait débitée. Dysfonctionnement ou arnaque, les avis sont partagés quoi qu'il en soit c'est le même problème...
Je fais le Maroc depuis 30 ans. Je ne n'ai jamais eu l'idée de me servir de ma carte visa française : toujours de liquide sur moi. Il faut se méfier, malgré le côté technique de l'opération et la mondialisation de normes et les transactions. Je ne fais trop confiance. Pour clôturer mon compte bancaire à la BMCI/Marrakech, la guichetière a voulu s'emparer de ce que reste sur le compte.. pourtant la fermeture de comptes est gratuite.

En effet, je ne considère pas m'être faite arnaquée, il s'agit d'un dysfonctionnement du GAB, ma question était de savoir quel recours je pouvais avoir si la banque centrale à Casa ne se bouge pas pour me rembourser. Finalement sur vos conseils je vais m'adresser à ma banque en France avec qui j'ai RV demain, ainsi qu'à Mastercard.

je pense qu'il y a un malentendu là, je suis moi même d'origine marocaine et jamais je salirais mon pays encore moins sur des choses non fondées. Moi, je ne sais pas s'il s'agit d'arnaques ou d'erreur je n'ai pas etudié le sujet en profondeur pour me prononcer. Tout ce que je dis c'est que Julieetta a connu le même problème (j'entends par "problème" somme débitée sans qu'elle n'ait pu avoir l'argent) et que peut être la discuission peut lui apporter des réponses dont elle aurait besoin, ni plus, ni moins.
vu que la reclamation a été faite et que le problème n'est pas résolu cela s'appelle de l'arnaque.
consulter toujours votre compte aprés chaque retrait pour parer à toute surprise.c'est pas toujours du clair côté banque chez nous et il faut le reconnaitre.
tout cela a le mérite d'être clair tant pour Julieetta que Rachida et comme dit l' adage, ..il faut rendre à Julieetta..ses Euros et ..au GAB...sa fonctionnalité, et à nous autres..notre discernement.

😠😠🤪😊🙁 Je m'en doutais depuis un certain temps. J'en ai maintenant la certitude : j'ai été arnaqué de plusieurs dizaines de milliers de dirhams en tentant de retirer de l'argent dans des distributeurs automatiques de billets au Maroc ! J'ignore encore comment un tel vol a techniquement pu avoir lieu ni qui en est responsable. Mais j'ai demandé à ma banque Visa, la Corner Bank de Lugano, d'ouvrir une enquête et je m'apprête à faire opposition au pseudo-versement de nombreux montants... que je n'ai jamais touchés.
Voici les faits. Pour disposer de billets en monnaie locale, je retire régulièrement des montants dans les distributeurs automatiques d'Agadir, d'Ouled Teima ou encore de Marrakech avec une carte Visa. Il arrive fréquemment que ces automates indiquent qu'une coupure informatique ne permet pas de satisfaire à ma demande ou que mon code est erroné. Je recompose donc celui-ci une deuxième, voire une troisième fois, et je finis, parfois, par obtenir les billets souhaités. Or il se révèle que chaque demande non satisfaite est comptabilisée sur le décompte Visa, ce qui signifie que je suis amené à payer toutes les requêtes que j'ai tentées, qu'elles aient ou non été suivies d'un versement !
Ces cas concernent surtout les banques BMCE et Attijariwafa Bank. En citant ces deux banques, je ne prétends pas que celles-ci sont malhonnêtes. J'affirme seulement que les problèmes cités se produisent lorsque je retire de l'argent à ces guichets. Exemple : le 1er avril dernier, la BMCE me débite... trois fois le montant de 4'000 dirhams, cela en quelques minutes ! Tout simplement parce que j'ai demandé ce montant trois fois, sans succès, vu les problèmes informatiques mentionnés à l'écran. Nouvel exemple : le 6 mai, Attijariwafa Bank d'Ouled Teima me débite 6'000 dirhams, puis quelques secondes après 2'000 dirhams.
Cette situation me met en colère 😠😠😠. Je réclame donc la lumière sur ces dysfonctionnements. Et j'en avertis les lecteurs de ce site, afin qu'ils se montrent extrêmement prudents lorsque des "pannes" sont annoncées aux distributeurs à billets au Maroc. il s'agit d'un problème de GAB (informatique). Rien à voir avec ce problème d'arnaques de cartes visa.

j'ai eu le meme probleme a Agadir.C'est en France auprès de ma banque que j'ai pu obtenir satisfaction.(délai à environ un mois).Inutile d'essayer d'obtenir réparation auprès de la banque marocaine, vous ne parviendrez à rien.
Mon conseiller de clientèle m'a justement tel cet après-midi pour m'annoncer que le service qui règle ce genre de prob en France, m'a crédité la somme (donc 224E +8E de frais bancaires) ! Je n'en reviens pas de la rapidité, si j'avais su, je me bats depuis début juin pour obtenir gain de cause auprès de la banque au Maroc.😠
Par contre il y a un bemol : le Maroc a 45 jours, il faut le savoir, pour refuser la transaction ! Ce serait le comble quand même, mais sait-on jamais....

Manquerait plus qu'il vous demande de justifier le faite que le GAB vous ait donné la somme et que vous affirmiez ne pas les avoir touché

Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...

- Does it need to cover the entire duration of the trip?
- Is this document mandatory for a hotel to rent a room?
- Is it checked during inspections?
- Is a hotel booking (e.g., via Booking.com) sufficient for the visa?
- If so, does it need to be paid in advance?
I plan to visit several cities and do one or more treks with a guide or agency.

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Day 4-5-6: Chefchaouen and a day hike in the Rif Mountains
Day 6-7: Discover the city of Fes (I’ve heard so many great things!!)
Day 8: Stop in Meknes and possibly visit the historic site of Volubilis
Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad)
After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address
AND a password (with confirmation). Is this normal?

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.
For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.
