Booking for the Uffizi Gallery with the Firenze Card

Hi there, I’m heading to Florence soon, and since I want to visit as many museums as possible, I’m thinking of getting the Firenzecard (or Firenze Card). From what I’ve gathered online (and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong), with this card, you need to call a phone number to book a specific time slot for the Uffizi Gallery (+39 055 294883). Unfortunately, when I try calling this number from my mobile, I get a message saying the number “is no longer in service.” Has anyone else run into this? Could it be an issue with my phone plan, or has the number changed? Thanks in advance for your help. w.

hi,

The Firenze Card help center tells me that this is indeed the right number I need to try again, that it's the only way to book entries.....but I still get the same message saying the number isn't assigned....have any of you found a solution?

Hi Chantal,

Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, I didn’t find a solution to our problem, so I decided to skip the Firenze Card and buy the tickets individually. It’s a shame, but I don’t see another way.

On that note, I noticed that tickets for the Uffizi opening (8:15 AM) don’t seem to be available on the official site until you create an account. Once the account is set up, those tickets become available. Just another small but annoying bug—easy to work around, though.

Have a great trip to Florence.
