I’m planning to ride from Manaus to Lábrea via Humaitá and then continue along the Transamazonian from Lábrea to João Pessoa by motorcycle. I’m looking for recent info on the condition of this route (paved sections, dirt tracks, etc.). Thanks for any tips you can share!

Hi Bernard,
I don’t have any info about this route, but I’d love to know how you’re planning your trip—what motorcycle you’re using, whether you’re taking your own bike or renting one there, how long the journey will take, how you’re getting to Manaus, and are you going solo?
Thanks for sharing those details!
Anyway, safe travels on the road.
Richard
Hi Richard,
Current plan in the works—bike bought in Cayenne, riding down to Macapá, then ferry via Manaus and dirt track toward Humaitá and the BR-230.
