Il y en a que je n'aurais pas peur de faire affaire avec, surtout parce que leur site est très updaté et très beaux, mais certains sont plus, comment dire... "bs", genre broche-à-foin...sont-ils fiables quand même? même si le site est très moche?
À ma connaissance, les sites Internet qui semblent douteux ne méritent pas l'attention de voyageurs avertis. Pour être sûre d'une agence de qualité, le premier indice est de voir le numéro de permis de l'agence et que celle-ci charge la taxe sur les forfaits (je ne me souviens plus du nom mais c'est 3, 50$CA / 1 000$CA d'achat et c'est un fonds qui permet le remboursement de la totalité de l'achat en cas de problème, pensez à la cie Jetsgo!). Ce que nous faisons pour notre part, c'est de regarder les prix et forfaits sur Internet et par la suite contacter l'agence pour voir si le prix et le forfait sont disponibles. Nous l'avons fait avec deux entreprises dernièrement et nous sommes très satisfaits. Nous doutions sur l'une des agences car le prixc étaient beaucoup plus bas que les autres et nous avons appelé les agences de notre région pour qu'ils nous fassent le même prix et ils ne pouvaient jamais. Nous avons donc grandement économisé. Il s'agit de l, agence de Voyage Bergeron (Mtl et Longueil) et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre agent attitré et l'on pense faire l'achat d'une croisière via lui et nous venons d'acheter un forfait à New-York en car guidé et nous l'avons acheté sur Internet avec l'agence Voyage à rabais de Trois-Rivières.
La meilleure façon de voir le sérieux c'est aussi le bouche à oreille!
Il y des sites internet qui sont fait par des gens qui travaillent dans des agences de voyage, alors bien t'informer sur le permis et l'adresse de l'agence en question.

Moi aussi je dis que VAR (voyages à rabais )est excellent! Je suis de Trois-Rivières, j'ai trouvé mon forfait sur internet et je suis allé voir un agent sur place . Ils n'ont pas accès aux forfaits internet mais elle a pu me sortir des meileurs prix (avec rabais enfants etc etc) et j'ai eu un très bon service. Plusieurs personnes de la région font affaire avec eux et sont satisfaits. Johanne🙂

Tiprout, chez voyages à rabais ils n'ont pas accès aux mêmes forfaits internet que nous mais si tu y va avec le forfait qui t'intéresse ils vont regarder ce que eux peuvent avoir de similaire et ils regardent aussi tout les rabais possible comme enfants de 2 à 12 ans gratuit ou 2e chambre à moindre frais ou spécial ado, ça dépend du fournisseur et ils peuvent le contacter directement. J'ai payé $200.00 de moins malgré le 2 ou 3% de plus pour les agents. Quand tu sort des standarts (enfants-2 couples etc) ça vaut la peine d'aller sur place. Tu sais où c'est?
Oui Nancy parce que j'ai 3 enfants, donc on doit prendre 2 chambres et quand on va par internet on doit écrire 4 adultes, mais en réalité certains hotels offrent des rabais pour 2e chambre enfant de 12 ans et moins, donc on avait pas le rabais avec internet. C'est pour ça que dans des cas spéciaux comme moi on a plus de chance sur place. Johanne🙂
En fait nous n'avons pas à nous rendre nécessairement à l'agence de VAR à 3-Riv. puique j'ai déjà acheté d'eux justement pour un voyage avec 2 ados et l'agent m'a sorti un prix pour occ. quadruples (3 adultes + 1 tarif enfant) et j'ai économisé puique je n'arrivais pas à avoir ce package directement sur internet... Et j'ai fait mes transactions au téléphone avec une agente.
À mon avis, le désavantage d'acheter par internet c'est que nous devons débourser le montant total même si on est à plus de 45 jours avant le départ (habituellement le nb de jour pour payer la balance de notre facture). Évidememnt en achetant en dernières minutes cet avantage ne s'applique pas.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
