Je souhaiterais faire parti d'un projet humanitaire durant la période juillet Aout 2007. Etudiante en Master 1 de psychologie, animatrice auprès d'enfants et personnes handicapées, la maltraitance est un sujet qui me touche beaucoup. elle est d'ailleurs le sujet de mon mémoire. je suis inf psy et je fais aussi occasionellement de la prévention contre la maltraitance d'enfants avec une pièce de théâtre que j'ai crée et qui est devenu un film, j'interviens dans les collèges et lycées parfois...
juste pour dire que ce problème me touche beaucoup...récemment je me suis intéréssée à une association aux phillipines, l'association Caméléon qui acceuille des filles de six à 18 ans qui ont étés maltraités, outre un site très bien fait avec tous les articles de presse et ce qu'ils font, j'ai rencontré la fondatrice Laurence Ligier et depuis je parraine Quencess à qui j'écris régulièrement...
l'interêt de cette assoc est qu'on peut aller y passer trois semaines afin de voir par soi même ce qui s'y passe et rencontrer nos filleules et de plus beaucoup de gens, notamment des psy, medecins ou autres peuvent partit là bas pour quelques mois en bénévolats, certains ont fait leur thèse sur ce séjour...

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
