il y a des taxis disponibles juste à la sortie de l'aéroport Houari Boumediene!
pour les prix, il n y a pas de prix fixes, donc vaut mieux négocier (si possible)!
pour le magasinage ou autres dépenses lors de ton séjour, il serait préférable d'être en compagnie d'un Algérien (de confiance) pour éviter de payer des prix de fou!!!

S'il y a un pays où vous ne crainiez rien c'est bien l'Algérie! Oui, vous trouverez des taxis qui vous emmèneront sur alger centre (la station de taxis inter-villes est située au niveau de la gare ferroviaire, sur le port). Et côté prix, même s'il faut toujours rester vigilant, là encore aucune crainte: je ne sais pas si c'est le fait d'être touriste ou français ou les deux mais je n'ai jamais été arnaqué.
Quelle chance en tout cas d'aller à Alger, c'est une si belle ville!

Les Taxis se trouvent à la sortie de l'aeroport, d'un ton ferme est difinitif tu annonces ton prix, (car les chauffeurs de Taxi t'annonceront 1000d, ce qui est exorbitant, je te conseille de payer 5EUROS presque l'equivallent de 500dinars;les chauffeurs de Taxis au 1er abord te diront c'est peu en revanche ils accepteront ton prix(retorque je ne suis pas un touriste)
Le chauffeur t'accompagneras à Alger centre.
Si tu desires te rendre dans divers Willayas la nouvelle gare routiere se situe à l'exterieur d'Alger(Taxi du centre ville à la Gare routiere 200d pas plus verifie le compteur)
2eme solution si tu es issue d'une famille nombreuse deplaces toi munie de celle-ci car les gares ferrovieres les acceptent (le tvg est tres clean)
Si tu as desires differentes adresses sur place je me ferais une joie de t'en indiquer.
Pour le change hotels restos etc.
Je me suis regalée pendant 5 mois avec un budget restreins.Je ne fus pas accompagnée, j'ai decouvert une ville superbe.Amuses toi bien.

En tout cas, quand je me pointe devant les taxis il me demandent 1500-2000 Da. J'ai parfois réussi à faire baisser le prix mais j'ai les boules de devoir payer le même prix pour aller de chez moi jusqu'à Roissy (17 kilomètres) et pour aller de l'aéroport Houari Boumedienne à Alger. Alors, maintenant je prends le bus qui ne me coûte pas cher : 35 Da tout compris, c'est à dire avec les discussions et les bons conseils des algériens qui prennent le bus avec moi (et je trouve que c'est une mise en condition fort agréable même si le bus n'est pas des plus modernes !).
detrompez vous ! le bus que vous trouverez a l aeroport est tres moderne ( 2006 a 2009) avec climatisation !les bus a l intérieur de la ville sont assez moderne aussi, certes ce n'est pas la ratp mais pas très loins ! c'est des bus de 2004-2006 alors ! sauf pour quelques bus qui desservent la banlieue d Alger !

Je parle des bus qui font le trajet Aéroport - Centre d'Alger. On prend ces bus à l'extrémité du parking de l'aéroport et ils déposent dans le centre ville d'Alger sur le front de mer près des bureaux de la wilaya. Ce sont des bus de couleur beige dans lesquels il y a une vingtaine de places.
Ces bus-là sont très anciens mais ils ont leur charme et je ne me plaints pas de les prendre ! Au contraire...
C'était peut-être le bus de l'équipe nationale algérienne à l'aéroport 😉
Plus sérieusement... en effet, la majorité des bus (ou cars) qui circulent en Algérie sont très récents. Pour faire le trajet Béchar-Alger au mois de mai, j'ai d'ailleurs eu un car tout neuf qui avait encore les protections en plastique sur les sièges. J'étais assise juste derrière le chauffeur et je voyais le compteur kilométrique qui affichait moins de 2000 kilomètres.

en principe, comme dans tous les aeroports, des taxis sont diponibles à la sortie, soyez rassuré vous ne risquez rien, si vous vous rendez au centre ville cest entre 500 et 1000 DA si cest plus loin ben le tarif augmentera !!

Then, when I mentioned I wanted to stay for two or three weeks—maybe even a month—explaining that my trip wouldn’t be strictly touristy but more of a pilgrimage to the places of my childhood, and that it would likely be a very emotional journey, I expected a positive and warm reaction to my approach. Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...
Anyone here who can share their experience of returning? I specified “recently” because it seems that right now, diplomatic relations between the two governments are extremely tense, not to say hostile... even if Macron claims otherwise...

- Does it need to cover the entire duration of the trip?
- Is this document mandatory for a hotel to rent a room?
- Is it checked during inspections?
- Is a hotel booking (e.g., via Booking.com) sufficient for the visa?
- If so, does it need to be paid in advance?
I plan to visit several cities and do one or more treks with a guide or agency.

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Day 6-7: Discover the city of Fes (I’ve heard so many great things!!)
Day 8: Stop in Meknes and possibly visit the historic site of Volubilis
Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad)
After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.
For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.
