salut à vous. je suis nouveau ici, et j'aimerai votre avis pour un problème me concernant.
J'ai 20 ans, je suis en 2ème année à l'école d'architecture de strasbourg. A la base je m'étais inscrit pour faire de l'architecture bio etc... mais je pense de plus en plus m'orienter dans une sorte de bénévolat humanitaire. et je ne sais pas si c'est dans l'architecture que je peux aider le mieux les gens qui ont besoin d'aide. mais quelle est l'aide dont les gens ont le plus besoin? en afrique par exemple, c'est quoi? argent? abris? a-t-on besoin d'un architecte pour construire une maison là-bas où les gens en ont vraiment besoin? là où les architecte peuvent être utile, c'est pour délivrer des permis de construire pour des hopitaux, des centres d'éducations à la rigueur, des orphelinats, et quoi d'autres?
Mais qu'est-ce qui est le plus urgent? il faut des fonts? il faut déveloper un système pour l'eau et sa distribution ou quoi?
En gros c'est quoi la priorité en ce moment au niveau humanitaire? et est-ce que l'architecture est d'un quelconque secour? ou bien je m'oriente dans autre chose? Quelles sont les compétences utiles et qui manquent chez la plupart des bénévoles pour être vraiment efficaces dans l'humanitaire?

tu poses beaucoup de questions je ne peux répondre qu'à une seule de tes questions car je suis pas spécialiste de l'humanitaire.
Tout ce que je peux te dire c'est que dans l'humanitaire on recherche des personnes qualifiées.
N'étant pas une spécialiste de l'humanitaire je pense que tous les corps de métiers sont indispensables dans l'humanitaire surtout un architecte ! comment veux-tu construire ou reconstruire un dispensaire, une maison, un hopital, une école sans architecte! Personne ne peut s'improviser architecte sans avoir reçu une formation spécifique.
Donc si tu veux faire de l'humanitaire il n'est pas nécessaire de changer de voie (sauf si tu aimes pas ce métier).
Continue tes études d'architecture et devient un architecte humanitaire!!

Le bâtiment bio n'est pas vital pour l'Afrique, où les populations tellement démunies de tout, pensent d'abord à mettre à manger dans l'assiette. Bien sûr, il y a des nantis, mais au Sénégal nous n'en avons jamais entendu parler.
Nos activités associatives depuis 1992 en terme d'appui aux structures locales, investies dans leurs projets de mieux-vivre local, durable, nous ont amenés à parler d'amélioration de l'habitat, ton message retient donc notre attention.

My name is Valerie and I live in France. I’m a street artist—I perform street shows that blend circus and clowning. I also work as a clown in hospitals and retirement homes in France.
I’m planning to spend two months in Morocco from January 19, 2027, to March 13, 2027. I’ll be traveling in a truck, so I’ll be mobile.
I’d love to offer my time as a volunteer to perform a show that’s suitable for all audiences (kids and adults) in village squares. I’d also like to visit hospitals and orphanages as a clown.
My route will start in Nador, then head down to Merzouga, before making my way to the coast either above or below Agadir. Toward the end of my trip, I’ll return to Zagora and Merzouga before leaving from either Nador or Tangier.
I already have contacts in Merzouga and Zagora. Next, I’d like to head toward the coast above or below Agadir, and I’m looking for contacts (associations, orphanages, hospitals) in that area or along my route.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
