Je recherche des témoignages de personnes ayant fait un chantier bénévole avec l'association Concordia...
Je pense en faire un en octobre en Thaïlande et j'aimerais avoir des avis sur l'association et les projets menés, et savoir comment ça se passe sur place.
je suis parti en Russie (2005), au Mexique (2002) et en Bosnie (2003) par l'intermédiaire de CONCORDIA, c'était génial, en fait l'asso n'organise rien à l'étranger, ce sont des associations locales qui montent les projets et Concordia est partenaires depuis plusieurs années (comme vive mexico au mexique). elle existe depuis plus de 50 ans ça montre le sérieux
en plus ce qui est génial et assez rare, c'est le travail en réciprocité afin d'accueillir en france des étrangers

je rentre tout juste d'un chantier bénévole au burkina faso avec concordia, c'est mon 2ème je suis partie avec eux au ghana l'an passé. tout s'est bien passé, et l'accueil sur place est super, a priori tu peux avoir confiance en l'association qui t'accueillent sur place, je connais plusieurs personnes qui sont partis avec concordia et qui on été ravi de leurs séjours!!!
alors bon séjour et profites car c'est souvent trop court mais c'est une super expérience !!!
pour ma part je suis assez dégouté par les genre d'organisme comme Concordia... pour partir en mission, mettons qu'il te demande 1500€ (sans compter le transport), et ils en gardent facilement 500€ dans leur poche.... certes il faut faire fonctionner l'entreprise mais bon ...
Moi je rentre d'une mission au Togo ou j'ai contacté via ce forum une assoc togolaise. Je leur ai donné 190€, au mois je sais que l'argent donné ira directement au pres des institutions sur place (tyoe : orphelinat, ecole de quartier...). Je pense qu'il est bien d'encourager ces petites assoc nationales ... plutot que des organismes comme Concordia... Je ne jette pas forcement la pierre sur celle ci, mais elle fait partie d'un ensemble, entre autre il y a aussi Project abroad qui fonctionne avec le meme systeme) ...

chiffres bizarre...cela ne doit pas être Concordia
pour s'inscrire à CONCORDIA il faut compter 185 € plus le voyage et sur place l'association selon les pays d'afrique demande en moyenne 150 à 200 euros...
Effectivemment concordia est un peu moins cher que d'autres "structures humanitaires" comme planete urgence, asmae, project abroad... pour ne citer que les plus connus...
Ceci dit, je viens de faire un devis, pour partir avec concordia dans un pays d'afrique cela coute environ 800€ sans compter les frais d'avion ... ca me parait quand meme très élevé pour 3 semaines sur place !!!

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
