Je ne sais pas exactement encore, ils proposent plusieurs missions dans différents pays et avec plusieurs ONG différentes (selon les missions).
Je suis convoquée à un séminaire ou j'en saurai beaucoup plus.
Mais avant de m'y rendre, j'aurais aimé être certaine que cette association était fiable? Vous en avez déjà entendu parler? Leur site internet: mission-humanitaire.fr

Oui, & puis travailler est une bonne solution avant de se lancer dans un tel projet, car ce n'est pas donné niveau budget !

Donc pour le moment on retient: le Bénin, le Burkina Faso, le Sénégal, la Côte d'Ivoire, le Togo. Nous faisons aussi attention à la sécurité des pays.

Deux jeunes infirmières qui participaient à la mission au Cambodge ont fait une mission au Bénin l'année précédente. Leur retour semblait très positif.
C'est vrai que les frais sont élevés. Pour les réduire, les 2 jeunes infirmières ont démarché banques, assurances, hypermarchés, etc. Au final, elles ont dû payer le quart de la mission !

Non, je ne suis pas partie avec l'association "mission humanitaire": association qui ne me paraissait pas fiable. Par contre, je peux te conseiller l'association "Jeunesse et Reconstruction" (Je devais partir via cette assoc, mais malheureusement, quelques jours avant mon départ, j'ai du annuler pour des raisons perso.) Mais ce que je peux te dire, c'est qu'ils sont à l'écoute, tu peux les appeler ou envoyer des mails si tu te poses des questions, ils te répondront à chaque fois. J'ai me suis également fait rembourser mes frais d'inscription comme je ne suis pas partie...& ça toutes les associations ne le feraient pas je pense.

Il y a beaucoup de missions intéressantes.
Par contre ce qui me parait "bizarre" c'est de devoir dès le début payer tous les frais sans même savoir si sa demande de projet est acceptée ou pas

Avant de s'inscrire et de payer les frais d'inscription, nous avions appelé l'asso en parlant du projet qui nous plaisait. On nous avait dit que logiquement on nous prendrait sans problème. (Du coup, non, ça ne nous a pas vraiment refroidit) Mais c'est aussi pour ça, que lorsque tu t'inscris, il demande 2 autres projets au cas où ton 1er choix ne serait pas validé ;)
Si tu a d'autres questions, n'hésites pas.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year. Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.). Does anyone know of any contacts, please? Looking forward to your replies. Have a great evening!

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...
Help us give away at least one of these wheelchairs, turning your trip into a solidarity and humanitarian action.

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
