Je m'appelle Benoît, diplômé en école de gestion, je tiens à consacrer une année entière à un projet humanitaire avant de poursuivre mes études en Mastère.
Je suis donc à la recherche d'une mission humanitaire à partir de septembre 2009.
Je suis intéressé par l'Amérique latine et l'Asie principalement (pour apprendre leur langue) mais je suis ouvert à toutes propositions.
Ce que je souhaite, c'est découvrir un nouveau pays, une nouvelle culture, apprendre la langue locale, et le plus important participer et travailler dur pour aider les populations locales.
Je suis intéressé par tout ce qui est relié à la construction, au chantier, à la rénovation, l'aide agricole, tout ce qui aide à l'amélioration de l'environment urbain des populations défaorisées.

Bonjour,
Pour nous présenter un peu plus, nous sommes une association de développement local basée dans la banlieue dakaroise et nos domaines d'activités sont l'éducation, la santé, le social, l'environnement (www.waranka.org) .
Nous disposons d'un siège fonctionnel équipé d'un secrétariat pour les services de traitement de texte, d'un cyber et d'un logement pour les bénévoles.
Pour l'éducation nous avons une école associative composée d'une maternelle de deux niveaux (petite et moyenne section) et deux classes élémentaires (Ci et Cp). Nous dispensons également des cours en alphabétisation à l'intention des femmes non instruites 3 fois par semaines. Enfin nous faisons du soutien scolaire pour les collégiens tous les soirs, du dimanche au vendredi.
Pour le social, nous faisons des dons de plusieurs sortes (friperies, fournitures scolaires, médicaments, etc.) que nous envoient des partenaires extérieurs. Sur notre site beaucoup de photos retracent ce genre d'évènements qu'on a vécu avec l'association africa run (www.africarun.org), l'association astou (www.astou.org), le projet senegalo-américain (www.senegalo-americaprojetc.org), pour ne citer que ceux-là
Pour l'environnement, nous habitons dans une zone qui connaît beaucoup de problèmes pendant la saison des pluies ; nous menons des activités de lutte contre les inondations et les eaux stagnantes dans ce sens. Nous faisons également des reboisements de quartier et de la sensibilisation par rapport à la gestion de l'environnement.
Pour la santé, nous avons ficelé beaucoup de projets de lutte contre certaines maladies endémiques comme le paludisme et le choléra. Pour une maladie comme le diabète dont souffre beaucoup d’adultes ici, nous avons organisé une journée de dépistage grâce au projet senegalo-américain cité tantôt.
D'autres activités sont également menées, comme la formation en informatique, des activités d'ordre culturel, etc.
Voilà quelque peu résumées nos domaines de prédilection...
Effectivement quelques de ces activités sont menées par des bénévoles, et nous avons une expérience avérée dans la gestion de ce programme.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. Solidafrica is a recognized humanitarian association of general interest. We donate wheelchairs in Africa. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
