nous au fête dernier nous étions a holguin et il y avais beaucoup de puce de sable le matin tôt et j'ai jamais eu ca ailleurs et ca dans 12 voyages, et quelque maringuouin dans la soirée achète toi la crème whatkins vendu a la pharmacie et wall mart, et le tour est joué et sent bonne et pas collante mais éloigne les bibittes et très efficace plus bébittes sur nous,
la pire place que j ai été c est au playa turquesa beaucoup de bibites le soirs et en plus tu ne les vois pas et tu est piquer ..il est situer dans une zone ecologique donc beaucoup de vegetation ...j ai été au sol lunas et j ai adorée cet endroit avec bonne bouffe ..j y retournerais demain matin pour le brisas jamais fait et il ne m attire pas a cause de la plage ...que j ai vu et etant client du club amigo
Je suis revenue du Blau Costa Verde à Holguin le 30 novembre 2008... Je me gratte encore:) Malgré la crème Watkins et du chasse moustiques de type "Régions sauvages", j'ai été piquée par des petites mouches (brulôts). Et, pas quelques piqûres mais bien une cinquantaine!!! Je ne retournerai plus jamais à cet endroit.
Je suis arrivé du Blau COsta verde le 8 novembre et j'ai du aller à l'hopital pour être traité pour les picures que j'ai eu aux jambes. J'avais plein de bosses sur les jambes... Plus jamais le Blau de Holguin pour moi non plus...
Puisque l'on parle de bébittes, quelqu'un sait c'est comment à Cayo Guillermo/Cayo Coco côté moustiques? puces de sable? Départ prévu fin février. Merci!😕

Je n'avais jamais vu cela de ma vie. Moi, je suis arrivée dans le bon temps. Je n'ai rien mis de la semaine sur ma peau pour éloigner les moustiques et je n'ai eu aucune piqûre .Ni les membres de ma famille ...

Les moustiques sont une affaire de saison et de météo. Comme par ici, il arrive qu'on se fasse manger par les maringouins et d'autres jours, rien du tout. Pour ma part, je suis allée deux fois au Blau Costa verde en mars 2006 et en janvier 2008 et je n'ai même pas vue une seule puce de sable ou l'ombre d'un maringouin. Les insectes sont bien imprévisibles, vous avez été malchanceux et ça aurait pu se produire dans n'importe quel tout inclus. C'est certains que Cuba y a goûté cette année côté tempêtes tropicales et que ça peut sûrement jouer sur la prolifération des insectes.
moi je part pour la playa costa verder. Je part avec des jeunes enfants donc une de 16 mois. qui marche partout et l'autre qui a hate de jouer dans le sable. Est-ce que c'est dangereux des puce de sable? Est-ce que c'est comme des maringouins. La creme que vous parler c'est la walkin je vais aller en acheter mais est-ce que c'est pour les puce de sable ou pour les maringouins.
Les puce de sable c'est dans le sable j'imagine les enfant assis dans le sable doivent se faire manger!
Ne t'inquiète pas Arinou, j'ai voyagé avec mes enfants et ils ont joué toute la semaine dans le sable sans piqure. Les piqures de puces de sable sont très rarement dangereuses. En fait, se sont plutôt les démengeaisons qui sont désagréables et à force de gratter, la lésion peut s'infecter. Afin d'éviter les puces de sable, on évite d'aller sur la plage à la tombé du soleil. Les puces ne sortent pas en plein soleil. Aussi, on ne ramène pas de serviettes de plage dans la chambre et on se rince bien sousl a douche de plage au retour de la plage. Dans le cas de piqures et de démengeaisons, il est possible de prendre de la loratadine en vente libre dans les pharmacie (pillule contre les allergies sans somnolence) et pour les enfants, il y a le benadryl pour enfants en sirop.
La crème WATKINS est disponible en vente libre. Elle est efficace pour éviter les piqures de maringouins, tics et puces de sable. Cette crème a un fort pourcentage de deet, je la déconseille donc pour les jeunes enfants. Enfin, il est possible de se procurer dans les magasins de produits naturels de l'huile essentielle de lavende. Il semblerait que les insectes l'ont en horreur et que les humains trouvent que ça sent bon. Les spécialistes en produits naturels te conseillerons quant à son utilisation. Bon voyage!! En passant, à chacun de mes voyages, je lisais sur les forums qu'il y avait plein de bibittes partout et il y en avait somme toute bien peu!
Je suis allée 2 fois au Blau Costa Verde, l'hôtel voisin. Je connais donc la plage qui est commune au playa costa verde, au playa pesquero et au Blau Costa Verde. J'ai des amis qui sont allés avec leurs enfants au playa costa verde et ils ont fait un super voyage!

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.

The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
