Que pensez-vous du choix du Blau Colonial à Cayo Coco?
Nos priorités: bel endroit, belle plage, mais aussi bonne bouffe, car nous avions déjà été déçu à Varadéro au Bahia Principe Varadéro 1920.....
C'est l'endroit que j'ai choisi pour mon voyage aussi... je sais pas quand tu pars mais on se croisera p-e là bas! J'espère que tu recevras des réponses de gens qui sont déjàs allé... mais je t'envoie un lien que j'ai trouvé très interressant!
Je suis allée à cet hôtel en avril passé et j'ai été agréablement surprise.
La nourriture était bonne, le personnel super gentil. J'ai beaucoup aimé l'endroit puisqu'il est différent des autres hôtels c'est-à-dire qu'on dirait que nous sommes dans un mini-village en espagne. Cela fait super beau. Le service a été bon. Je pensais de m'ennuyer étant donné que je partais seule mais au contraire j'ai pu faire plusieurs activités dont promenade à cheval sur le bord de la mer avec un souper, il y a la journée catamaran, la journée à Trinidad. Aussi, il y avait des gens qui partaient le soir avec des géo pour aller à la discothèque sous terre (cave) mais moi je n'ai pu aller je n'ai pas filer ce soir là.
Pour la plage, en avril, le vent a été un fort donc beaucoup de vagues mais lorsque la mer était calme, l'eau était super. Je pense que dans ces temps-ci il devrait avoir moins de vent mais malgré qu'on m'avait dit que normalement il n'y avait pas autant de vent que cela. J'ai été déçu pour cela puisque je n'ai pu faire du catamaran en raison du vent. Et une autre chose, le séchoir, qui ressemble à un tuyau de balayeuse. Je te conseil de t'amener un adapteur/convertisseur et ton séchoir.
Sinon le reste tout était correcte et je recommande cet hôtel, j'ai une collègue qui est allée par la suite et elle a bien aimé, elle est allée pour deux (2) semaines. Et pas de grosses vagues.
Et voilà pour le Blau Colonial! Moi je pars le 27 janvier pour Holguin au Playa Costa Verde!

Je pense que tout dépend de ce que vous rechercher vraiment dans vos vacances et des standarts que vous vous fixez.
Pour ma part, j'ai séjourné au Blau Colonial en 2006 et franchement ça à été ma pire expérience à vie! J'ai trouvé la nouriture absolument horrible ainsi que les chambres. ( le matelas sentait l'humidité, c'était affreux! ) C'est le seul voyage à vie que je me souvienne avoir voulu retourné chez moi dès mon arrivé!
Je dois avouer que l'aspect extérieur était joli et que la plage était belle. Mais rien d'extraordinaire. Pour moi cet hotel aurait tout intérèt à être classé 3 étoiles. Mais ce n'est que mon avis. Je me doute que d'autres utilisateurs du forum auront d'autres impressions.
Je suppose que tout dépend avec quoi on le compare, mais en comparaison avec d'autres hotels 4 étoiles, celui-ci ne fait pas le poid!
Nous revenons à l'instant du Blau. Si vous avez un super deal, le Blau sera satisfaisant. Je suis assez d'accord de lui accorder un 3*1/2 plutôt que les 4*. Le site est superbe et la plage très belle.
Chambres:
Nous logions Bloc 16 avec vue sur la mer (merveilleux). Chambre SuperSaver.
L'architecture de la chambre est très belle mais des rénovations sont necessaires. Un peu de traces de moisissure içi et là. Les matelas sont vieux et les oreillers grosses et trop dures. Nous avons manqué d'eau qu'une seule fois. La pression est plus forte que chez moi.
Nourriture:
De longues attentes pour l'entrée du buffet. Déjeuners-7h30. Diners 13h00. Souper 6h30. De longues attentes pour l'unique Grille-Pain, de longues attentes pour les viandes. Je ne peux malheureusement être satisfait des buffets.
Le midi, un Casse-Croute juste à côté de la piscine offre hamburgers, hot-dogs, salades, sandwichs. Très correct
Les Restos à la carte; Fruits de mer=mauvaises cuisson. Italiens= très bon. Cajun=ok et très salé.
Animation:
Pas fort. Nul sur la plage, rien à la piscine ou presque. Les spectacles en soirée sont redondants et la musique trop forte pour notre fille.
Par contre, il y a des musiciens partout sur le site. Très cool et rare d'en voir autant.
Plage et Piscine:
Très belle plage, parfait pour la famille. Notre Top. Ne manque jamais de chaises. Préposé au chaises très acceuillant et il travaille très fort.
Si vous voulez boire des drinks en vous faisant bronzer, je vous conseil de vous nicher à côté du Ranchon, car l'autre bout est loin. loin.
La piscine est très cool pour la famille. Une bonne partie est destinée aux jeunes enfants. Une seule journée, nous avons manqué de chaises.
Pas de Aqua Bar.
Le Blau Colonial= OK pour le prix, mais surement pas un 4*.
I’m planning to go to an all-inclusive resort next April. I know it’s the start of sargassum season, but I was wondering if it really affects swimming. Do hotels clean the beach? Is it still possible to swim?
I’d like to book an all-inclusive trip next April. My criteria: 1) no sargassum, 2) 4 stars or higher, 3) ability to snorkel right from the hotel beach, and 4) safe.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
