Je compte aller à La Havane du 31/10 au 14/11, je voudrais savoir si l'hôtel Kholy 3 *** est un bon choix et s'il est loin à pied de la vieille ville.
Avez-vous de bons plans pour manger la cuisine cubaine pas trop chère ?
Pouvez-vous me dire combien coûte en CUC le transfert de l'aéroport J. Marti à cet Hôtel?😎

Franchement il y a beaucoup mieux que le Kholy, il vieillit trés mal et pour quelques dollars de plus ( ou euros), je vous conseille l'occidental miramar, confort vraiment de standing (mais excentré de la vieille ville) .
En centre ville l'hotel Raquel ou le sevilla sont trés bons...
Pour un budget plus serré, donc d'un confort moindre mais acceptable, le meilleur est le Deauville...
Il faut compter 20 cuc la course de taxi depuis l'aéroport.
Les bons restaus pas chers, le Hanoi, la torre de marfil, los nardos, el templete...
Une simple suggestion: puisque vous voyagez en liberté, pourquoi ne pas envisager plutôt un séjour chez l'habitant? À La Havane, à partir de 25 CUC, soit moins de 25 Euros, vous profiterez d'une vraie vie de quartier, d'éventuels échanges enrichissants avec vos locateurs, et surtout d'un rapport qualité-prix bien meilleur quant aux repas. Petits déjeuners abondants et délicieux pour 3 à 4 CUC, soupers de 8 à 12 CUC; rien ne vous empêcherait d'alterner un jour sur deux entre souper à la casa et souper à l'extérieur.
Les prestations d'hôtels sont en-dessous des standards européens, à moins d'y mettre le prix fort.
Certains sites comme particuba.net sont très complets, gratuits, et offrent des recommandations impeccables dans tous les quartiers de la ville. Je fais confiance à ce site depuis plusieurs voyages dans le pays.
Si votre budget prévoit chacune des dépenses à la pièce, seul un séjour en hôtel bas de gamme pourrait concurrencer celui en casa particular.

C'est mon premier voyage à Cuba et j'hésite entre l'hôtel et le logement chez l'habitant?
Mon but est de visiter assez bien et donc avoir un confort correct mais sans excès.

Dans le site particuba.net, choisissez d'abord le quartier havanais où vous souhaitez résider. Vous mentionnez un intérêt pour la vieille ville, alors c'est Habana vieja. Fiez-vous aux descriptions détaillées, avec photos, ou mieux encore, suivez les recommandations des "100 meilleures casas": maisons coloniales, proprios particulièrement avenants, bouffe de qualité...

Bien que grand amateur de salsa, je suis un couche-tôt... Mais ce n'est pas difficile à trouver à La Havane. Souvent les restos touristiques présentent de petites formations musicales aux terrasses, je pense entre autres à l'Inglaterra, ou à certains resto-bars de la rue Obispo. Sinon, la casa de la cultura de la Habana vieja, ou la casa de la Trova devraient vous permettre de passer un bon moment.

Hum... pas vraiment la caractéristique de cette ville. Vous ne pourrez pas manquer le Parque Central, mais on parle d'un square urbain, pas de grande nature. J'apprécie le calme et la beauté du cimetière Cristobal Colomb; pas la grande nature non plus, mais pour moi c'est un oasis facile d'accès et hyper tranquille. Le grand parc du Vedado, où se situe le glacier Coppelia, est aussi très agréable. Mais pour une véritable immersion en nature, allez séjourner deux ou trois jours à Vinales! Montagnes calcaires, culture du tabac, joli village très accueillant, nombreuses possibilités d'excursions dans les champs, vers les cavernes... vous y trouverez un Cuba rural très différent de l'activité de la capitale! Très nombreuses casas.
Je viens de repérer le Kholy dans mon guide Lonely Planet: vraiment excentré.
Ce serait une bonne idée de vous procurer un bon guide papier, Routard, Lonely Planet, ou autre.
cet hotel est assez loin du centre historique je dirait 7 a 8 km.prix du taxi pour ce trajet 5 cuc environ.pour le trajet aeroport hotels a la havane 25 cuc .je serai toi je me rapprocherai du centre et ce que tu mettrais dans le taxi irai dans la chambre.sinon il y a le deauville plus pres direct sur le malecon et dans les prix du kholy.
oui, le deauville est mieux placé, prix quasi identique et de confort légérement superieur...
Piscine et bureau de location de voiture aussi...
Vue mer pour la majorité des chambres...

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
