dans le passé je suis allée au Mélia Cayo Guillermo, le El Senadpr à Cayo Coco (avant qu'il change de nom), l'Iberostar Daiquiro à Cayo Guillermo, le Gran Club à Santa Lucia, et le Tryp Cayo Coco (maintenant le Blaue je crois).. je me demandais si un de ces hôtels pouvait se comparer avec le Sol Cayo Largo..
Salut, je suis allé au Sol Cayo Largo en janvier 2006 et c'est le plus bel hotel de l'endroit. Les chambres sont grandes et propres avec du rangement. La bouffe est correct, c'est une ile, alors il nous servent ce qu'ils ont. L'approvisionnement en nourriture est parfois long mais ne t'inquiète pas. Il y a un grill au buffet avec poisson et viande et un pasta bar (ce qui dépanne). Les resto à la carte sont ordinaires! Il y aussi un snack bar à la piscine avec pizza, hamburger, etc., c'est correct! L'endroit est très beau et les plages merveilleuses. Je te conseille fortement de prendre la navette qui nous amène a 2 plages protégées, soit la paradisio et la serina. C'est vraiment magnifique et à la playa serena, il y a plein d'étoile de mer sur le bord de l'eau. C'est un endroit pour se reposer car il n'y a pas beaucoup de chose à visiter. L'excursion en catamaran vaut vraiment la peine! Si tu as d'autres question ne te gêne pas! Moi, j'y ai passé 2 magnifiques semaines et ne t'inquiète pas pour la température, en avril c'est du 30 degré assuré!

je suis allée au Tryp en 1994, l'année de l'ouverture et que je suis allée au El Senador en 2001 le Tryp était fermé pour des rénovations majeures... et je croyais sincèrement que cette partie s'appelait maintenant le Blaue?? Je me trompe peut-être.
Je suis allé 4 fois à Cayo Coco-Cayo-Guillermo.
En 1998, le Tryp se composait de deux parties : la partie dite coloniale et la partie moderne ou plus récente .
La partie coloniale du Tryp a été vendue à la chaîne Blau qui l'a fermée pour fins de restaurations et de rénovations en vue d'en faire un 5 étoiles. Je crois qu'ils n'ont pas tout a fait réussi à avoir la cinquième ...

Je suis allé à plusieurs endroit depuis 15 ans et depuis les 5 dernieres années à Varadero, au El Senador dans maison en pilotis et je pourrais te dire que les 3 dernieres années ont été notre coup de coeur. Et oui le Sol Cayo Largo est pour nous considéré comme notre 2e demeure. Cet endroit est le paradis sur terre, les gens de cet hotel sont devenus mes amis ils sont extraordinaire. Les chambres sont très propres c'est vraiment un 4*1/2. La nourriture y est très bonne et que dire des plages, tu peux y marcher des heures et te rendre au deux autres plages qui sont magnifiques. Tu peux aussi à la Sirena y manger de la langouste et crevette etc.
Cet année nous avons décidé d'aller à au Bahia principe a Punta Cana, nous étions très indécis car nous nous ennuyons déjà de nos amis Cubains mais un moment donné il faut essayer autre chose. Mais il n'est pas dit que nous ne retournerons pas l'an prochain.

je te lis et j'ai l'impression que c'est moi qui ai écrit le texte tant il exprime ce que je ressens pour Cayo Largo et spécialement les employés du SOL.
Nous y allons tous les étés depuis 5 ans et nous y retournerons encore. Les gens au travail me taquinent et disent que je vais à mon chalet; c'est exactement comme si c'était mon chalet tellement je me sens comme chez moi.
je crois que tu ne regretterias pas d'avoir choisi le sol Cayo Largo. Pour plus de détails sur les chambres, l'hôtel, etc... je te réfère a mon diaporama de 207 photos fait à mon retour en juillet 2004. J'y suis retournée en juillet 2005 et 2006 et je peux te dire que l'hôtel n'a pas changé.

Je suis allé voir des photos, ouf que ca m'a fait du bien. Merci pour ce beau cadeaux, tu as mis du soleil dans mon après midi ca fait vraiment du bien. A ce que je vois nous avons la même passion pour Cayo Largo, 5 fois en été c'est vraiment super. J'ai vue la photo de Yosbani qui est partit sur un bateau, j'espèrais voir plus de photos du personnel mais quand même c'est magnifique. Nous nous sommes fait une grande verrière qui est décoré au couleur du sud avec plein de truc de Cuba et surtout je crois que tu aimerais j'ai un mur complet de photo de nos amis. Addiel, Ania, Eberto, Ernesto etc.... je pourrais t'en nommer. Et bien pour tout ceux qui ont le gout d'avoir la piqure si vous aller a Cayo Largo et bien c'est certain que vous n'irez pas seulement une fois.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
