Bonjour, je serai intéressée pour partir à cuba à l'hotel sol palmeras et j'aimerai avoir vos avis sur les restaurants, la plage.. les chambres?? et quelle période serait la mieux pour partir?
Nous avons séjourné au Sol Palmeras en mai 2009. C'était selon moi une bonne période. Belle température, eau chaude, ... Les édifices sont un peu vieux mais très propres. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes.
La nourriture est correcte mais nous avons constaté que les serveurs (au buffet) étaient beaucoup plus prévenants lorsque nous avons commencé à leur donner des pourboires. La différence était vraiment notable. Je sais qu'ils ne font pas beaucoup d'argent mais ils devraient traiter la clientèle équitablement et recevoir un pourboire pour leurs bons services et non le contraire...
La plage est magnifique et en pente douce. Une mer calme et turquoise, du beau sable blanc, .. Nous avions apporté des matelas gonflables et nous les avons beaucoup utilisés.
Somme toute, un bon rapport qualité/prix lorsque vendu pas trop cher.

Je suis allée au Sol Palmeras à deux occasions....et j'ai adoré......
En Novembre et en Janvier.....(Janvier beaucoup plus froid .....au moment où j'y étais).....
C'est un bel hôtel avec une très belle plage.....
Les restos sont sympas.....
La Bouffe correcte......
Les Chambres....petites....(Bungalow...beaucoup plus grand)....mais les chambres sont correctes et propres.....
Le personnel......à couper le souffle......accueillant...souriant.....serviable......
Nous avons eu un plaisir innoubliable avec le personnel féminin.....dans les restos et quelques bars......
Elles sont super jasantes et amicales......et drôles......
Les hommes tout autant gentils..et accueillants....sont plutôt du genre ''Casanova''......😉....mais tout aussi charmants.......
C'est un hôtel correct .....pas loin de la Havane....à faire absolument si vous en avez la possibilité.......
Et j'ajouterais.....qu'avec quelques mots en espagnol.......''Cela fait toute la différence''.....!!!!!
Tout simplement un ''Hola''.....un ''Buenos Dias'' et surtout un ''Muchas Gracias''!!!!!!😉

etes-vous parti en all inclusive? parce que sur un site ou il y avait des photos de repas au steackhouse ça mensionnait que ça coutait 20$. est-ce qu'il faut payer suivant le restaurant et le plat? ou si on est all inculsive on n'a pas à s'inquieter...
J'y étais en formule tout inclus ....rien à débourser pour les restos....seulement un pourboire!!!!😉
Mais pour le ''Steakhouse''....nous pouvions débourser $20.00 pour un plat de langouste....
Mais attention, c'est énorme comme assiette....
Il y a une langouste, un steak, un poisson ...si ma mémoire est bonne, légumes et riz.....
A mon deuxième séjour à cet hôtel, j'ai demandé que la langouste et elle était énorme et délicieuse!!!!!
Ce n'était que ce plat sur le menu du Steakhouse qu'on avait à débourser....pour des langoustes!!!
Une délicieuse ''Paela'' aux crevettes était servie à tous les dîners au resto près de la piscine.
Nous y sommes allés en février 2009 et c'est vraiment un endroit sympa.
Les cocktails sont bons oui, en particulier le MIAMI VICE servi au bar à cocktail qui ouvert le soir exclusivement.
La plage est belle. La piscine est assaillie dès le matin, il faut mettre sa serviette pour réserver un transat sinon pas de places...
Les restos sont bons. Pensez à réserver dès votre arrivée ceux à thèmes.
Pour les pourboires par contre, là est le bémol du séjour. En effet, les serveurs sont bien + efficaces à partir du moment où ils en ont. Sans ça, ils font le minimum syndical (si je puis dire). C'est clair que ça créé une ambiance assez malsaine à cause de cela. Les touristes en donne automatiquement et sans raisons valables.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
