Je suis allée au Tropicoco en septembre. J'ai bien aimé mais je ne m'attendais à absolument rien de cet hôtel. Si tu es un habitué des 4* et du luxe je te suggère autre chose. Sinon, ça pourrait faire ton affaire comme hôtel.
Les choses à ne pas manquer: il n'y a rien à ne pas manquer selon moi! Les attrapes: j'en ai pas vu non plus!
J'avais choisi cet hôtel car ça me revenait moins cher que d'aller en casa à La Havane et la plage est juste en face.
C'est un hôtel simple. Les chambres sont très très ordinaires, sans balcon, sans frigo. Le coffret de sureté est gratuit, l'air climatisée fonctionnait bien et il y avait un termos pour ramener de l'eau (ou de la bière!) à la chambre. Au buffet il y a très peu de choix mais c'était bon et c'était de la bouffe cubaine. Il n'y a pas de snack-bar. Il y a seulement un resto à la carte et c'est juste pour le midi. Il faut réserver la veille à la réception. Il y a une navette gratuite deux fois par jour pour La Havane. Sur la section de plage réservé à l'hôtel il n'y a qu'un seul parasol. La plage publique est à deux pas et là les parasols sont payant. Il n'y a pas de bière ni alcool au bar de la plage. Le bar du lobby ferme à minuit. L'internet ne fontionne pas. L'hôtel est propre. Bref, si tu n'as pas trop d'attentes et que tu as un très bon prix, tu pourras bien apprécié.

Te rappelles-tu si on y loue des vélos? (j'amène toujours le mien habituellement, mais là je pars avec Cubana, et il y a une surcharge de $60.00 par segment de vol.)

Non il n'y a pas de vélo au Tropicoco. En fait il n'y a rien! Il y a un fillet de volleyball sur la plage, mais pas de ballon. Il y a une table de billard à l'hôtel, mais pas de baguettes, ni de boulles! Il n'y a pas de serviettes de plage non plus.
Je ne me suis pas vraiment promené dans les environs. J'y étais seulement pour 4 jours. La première journée j'ai bu avec d'autres québécois en attendant mon mari, j'ai fait deux jours de plage et une journée à La Havane. Et c'était déjà le temps de revenir! Un soir après la fermeture du bar dans le lobby on est partit à la recherche de cigarettes. On a marché environs une demi-heure avant de trouver quelque chose d'ouvert. C'était la basse saison et tout était fermé. Et comme c'était la nuit, on ne voyait pas grand chose non plus! Il y a des petits magasins près de l'hôtel, un resto et un bar sur la plage publique et des sports nautiques (non-inclus avec l'hôtel). C'est tout ce que j'ai vu!

I’d like to book an all-inclusive trip next April. My criteria: 1) no sargassum, 2) 4 stars or higher, 3) ability to snorkel right from the hotel beach, and 4) safe.
Hey, I’d like to know which hotel in the south doesn’t force you to wake up at 4 AM just to reserve a shady chair, whether it’s at the beach or the pool.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
