En voyant tes photos, il semble qu'ils aient rénové et modifié plusieurs parties du site depuis 2001. J'avais adoré ça à ce moment et j'ai l'impression que c'est encore mieux.
Bonjour Richardion, en effet, il parait qu'il y a eu de nombreuses rénovations sur le site surtout dans les chambres. Moi et mon conjoint (nous avons 26 et 29 ans) avons trouvé que l'ambiance était vraiment bien car il y avait beaucoup de couples et de familles sur le site ainsi que de l'animation très interessante. Nous avons participé à différent jeux et cours de danse et allions tout les soirs aux spectacles qui étaient très bien. Je crois qu'à cet hotel il y en a pour tout les goûts car il y a des choses tôt en soirée mais aussi tard pour ceux qui aiment veiller et faire la fête. Il y a 14 blocs de chambre était-ce ainsi en 2001 ? Et comment était la nourriture ? À ce que j'ai entendu dire, la bouffe est meilleure depuis que le Blau et le Tryp ce sont séparés... À bientôt ! Merci pour les photos. Ça me donne une bonne idée de l'endroit... on hésitait trop à y aller cette année. alors on a choici Varadero. Ça sera pour le prochain voyage dans le sud.
Je ne me rappelle pas combien il y avait de blocs de chambres en 2001, mais ça devait ressembler à ça.
Pour la bouffe, je la trouvais très bien à l'époque et les restaurants à la carte étaient excellents, même du côté de ce qui est devenu le Blau où se trouvait un des meilleurs restaurants italiens que j'ai vu à Cuba. J'espère qu'il y a encore ce restaurant du côté du Tryp maintenant.
Vous avez aimé la nourriture?? et les restos à la carte?? La plage...vous n'avez pas trouvé qu'il y avait trop de personnes?? Etiez-vous "obligé" de réserver vos chaises ( à la plage et à la piscine...) tôt le matin??? La piscine était bien??? Pour les familles avec adolescents c'est très important.. ;-) avez-vous vu de beaux 'levers' de soleil?? Nous revenons de Cayo Guillermo, près de chez vous quand même😛 et j'avais le bonheur d'en voir tous les matins, cela en valait vraiment la peine !!! Moi j'ai en effet apprécié la nourriture surtout lorsque nous allions voir le cuisinier du buffet qui nous faisait sauter des crevettes et poisson, délicieux ! J'y suis allé à la fin juin et j'ai toujours trouvé une place sur la plage et même toujours près d'un des deux bars. La plage est magnifique, sable blanc, couleur de l'eau incroyable et pas d'algues. Les restos à la carte étaient bien mais pour tout avouer je me suis pas tannée du buffet... C'est une destination que je recommande à tout ceux qui veulent un hotel qui bouge un peu (pas trop quand même) et qui a un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Caroline
J'avais oublié de répondre à la partie concernant les adolescents et oui je crois que c'est un bon endroit pour eux car pendant mon séjour j'ai vu de nombreuses famille avec ados qui semblaient vraiment s'amuser. En passant c'est vrai qu'à la piscine, malgré quelle est très grande, il était parfois difficile de trouver des chaises mais plusieurs m'ont dit qu'à l'autre piscine, plus petite et plus tranquille il y avait souvent plus de places. Désolé de ne pouvoir te répondre pour les levers de soleil mais je dormais plutôt à cet heure. J'espère t'avoir aidé mais n'hésite pas si tu as besoin. Caroline
Wow, ton voyage a dû être fameux. Je prévois un voyage en novembre/décembre, mais je ne sais pas où aller encore. Peut-on voir des cubains à Cayo coco, ou on voit seulement les gens de l'hôtel? Peut-on ramener plusieurs souvenirs (saccoche, bracelets, colliers, etc.) à prix abordables? Merci beaucoup!
Pour ton information, il n'y a pas de cubains qui restent à Cayo Coco, c'est une île touristique uniquement, mais tu peux te rendre à Moron qui est environ une heure de Cayo Coco, il y a des excursions pour cette ville.
Les achats de souvenirs sont faciles, bijoux, sacoches, objets en bois, etc. C'est un très beau site et la plage est magnifique !
Allo Marie-Eve, tout comme l'a écrit havana, tu ne pourras pas voir de cubain sur le site de l'hotel mais ce que je peux te dire c'est que pour un couple dans la vingtaine (tout comme moi et mon chum) cet hotel est parfait car ça bouge pas mal mais tu peux aussi relaxer. Sincèrement je te le conseille et en plus ne n'est pas un hotel chers donc... Si tu veux plus d'infos, ça me fera plaisir de te répondre ! Caroline

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
