Quelqu'un pourrait me parler des méduses présentes à Varadero....je n'ai jamais eu affaire à ces bestioles auparavant...j'ai été à cayo coco, cayo largo et Holguin. Moi je serai à Varadero à la mi-mai, ca m'inquiète puisque j'adore me baigner dans l'océan. Mai est-il un mois propice à la présence des méduses et occupent-elles la grandeur de la plage de Varadero, où il y a des portions plus propices à leur présence ?
On n'entend pas souvent parler de méduses à Varadero mais quand j'y suis allée, c'était un réel problème. Assez pour nous empêcher de nous baigner ou de marcher sur la plage agréablement. Nous avons même vu un homme se faire brûler sérieusement au point où il a dû garder le lit et est demeuré souffrant pendant quelques jours. Pendant son voyage de noces, en prime!!!!! Ceci dit, je dois préciser que ce séjour avait eu lieu en janvier et que des experts en la matière avec qui j'en avait parlé m'ont assurée que ça dépendait du temps de l'année. Alors probablement qu'en mai, le problème ne se posera pas pour vous et que vous passerez de belles vacances! Tout ça pour dire que nous avions été quelque peu déçues de notre séjour à Varadero et que mise à part l'excursion sur la Havane, ce voyage est plutôt à ranger aux oubliettes!!!!

Une des raison pour laquelle je vais à Varadero cette année, est justement pour me permettre de ne pas trop m'élogner de la Havane et aussi pour la variété d'activités qui y sont offertes. J'espère simplement ne pas être trop décu par le climat et la beauté des lieux, car je serai porté à comparer avec les endroits que j'ai fais auparavant soit :Cayo largo, Cayo- coco, Holguin et Punta Cana en R-dominicaine...tous des endroits merveilleux.
Je me croise les doigts pour que ces bestioles ne soit pas de passage à Varadero en même temps que nous...
Nous avions séjourné à l'Hôtel Sol Club Coral. Ceci remonte à 2001 et je crois que cet hôtel est maintenant annexé au Sol Sirenas pour en faire le Sol Sirenas Coral. Je ne mettrais pas ma main dans le feu, mieux vaut vérifier. Varadero est un bel endroit, mais plus commercial que les autres endroits que tu mentionnes. Pour ma part, en fait de beauté des lieux et de dépaysement, vive Cayo Santa Maria. Quoique je n'ai pas encore eu le bonheur d'aller à Cayo Largo...Nous avons beaucoup aimé Cayo Coco aussi. Holguin, correct et je ne suis jamais allée à Punta Cana. Par contre, nous avons l'occasion d'aller à Boca Chica avec la compagnie de mon mari sous peu. Curieuse d'aller là car je ne suis jamais allée en R.D., optant toujours pour Cuba. Après 8 voyages à Cuba, je m'y sens très à l'aise et j'ai hâte de faire la comparaison. Ceci dit, j'ai l'impression que les petites bestioles ne devraient pas être en vacances en même temps que vous!
Nous sommes allés 2 fois à Varadero, une fois en décembre et une autre fois en février, et nous n'avons jamais eu de problème avec les méduses. Ni dans l'eau ni sur la plage.
jai remarqu/ que vous etiez alle a varadero en dec et fev et moi je pars en janvier alors jaimerais savoir comment est la temperature a cette periode!!!!! on a vraiment besoin de savoir merci!!!!!
La première fois que nous sommes allés à varadero, c'était février et il a fait très beau et chaud toute la semaine, sauf une journée.
La deuxième fois c'était du 8 au 22 décembre, et la première semaine a été plus belle que la deuxième et plus chaude. Au cours de la 2e, nous avons eu quelques petites averses de pluie, plus de nuages et plus de vent, mais beau bronzage quand même au retour et beaucoup de plaisir.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
