Nous allons à Cuba fin mars et la dernière fois que nous étions à Cuba c'était en 2003. Cuba acceptait encore les dollars américains. Donc, au barman, pour un bon drink, nous lui donnions 1, 00 $ américain de pourboire et il était était toujours content. Maintenant, étant donné que la monnaie CDN, tel le 1, 00 $ et le 2, 00 $ ne sert à rien à Cuba, que peut-on donné à notre barmain ou à tout Cubain qui nous rend service au court de la journée. Je pense que, bien que nous voulons être généreux, laisser 5, 00 $ pour un drink serait un peu exagéré. Est-ce que les Cubains ont le droit d'avoir en leur possession des CUC. J'apprécierai toute réponse qui pourra m'éclairer. Merci.😉
Nous arrivons de Cuba. Il faudra changer ton argent canadien a l'hôtel pour obtenir des pesos cubains convertibles. Nous donnions 1 PCC comme pourboire au barman et c'était bien apprécié.

J'étais au Playa Pesquero entre le 18 et le 25 décembre. La représentante de Tours Maison nous a mentionnés que nous pouvions donner des pourboires en $ CDN et que, habituellement, ils allaient les accepter, sauf exception. Étant donné qu'ils partagent tout, celle-ci a ajouté que les employés placent tout cet argent dans un "pott" et que par la suite, quelqu'un va à la banque pour l'échanger.
Nous avons également donné des pourboires en $ U.S. et ils acceptent. Plusieurs gens en donnaient.
Mais c'est certain que c'est mieux en pesos convertibles. Par contre, j'ai eu connaissance qu'à l'hôtel, ils manquaient de petites coupures.
J ai vu a quelque reprise les chauffeurs d autobus et les porteur de baggage essayer de m échanger la monnaie canadienne (les sous 1$ 2$) pour des billets ou des pesos convertible Je crois qu ils ont de la difficulter avec la monnaie puisque meme moi a l aéroport j ai vu des gens avec des 1$ et 2$ pour plusieurs dollars essayer d echanger pour des pesos et la caissiere ne voulait pas les prendre alors pas la peine d apporter votre petit cochons ahahahahaa Echanger le pour des dollars canadien avant de partir comme ca tout le monde est content😛 et ca pese pas mal moin dans la poche ahahahaha
Salut, c'est mieux d'échanger l'argent canadien à votre arrivée à l'aéroport car l'hotel se prend 3%. Ne donnez pas d'argent canadien en pourboire car ils sont pogné avec. En cachette, ils te demandent de leur échanger pour les pesos du touriste qui en passant ne sont pas les pesos des cubains qui vivent là. Alors, si vous voulez donnez des cadeaux aux habitants, donnez-leur des vêtements ou des chaussures. Apres votre séjour, ils vous redonnent, a l"aéroport, des dollars US pour les faire sortir du pays. Un beau pied de nez pour Bush!!!
J'arrives de la bas, nous leur donnions 1 pesos convertibles (l'équivalent de 1$US) au barman et staff sur le "plancher", pour ce qui est de la femme de chambre, ont leur laissait des choses (parfums, savons, pâte à dents...) Je crois sincérement que c'est mieux de leur laisser des pesos convertibles, que de leur laisser du $ canadiens, c'est plus compliqué pour eux à changer
Je veux simplement ajouter que selon les informations que j'ai eu de notre guide, les femmes de chambre ont souvent des boutiques dans leur maison et revendent les trucs qu'on leur donne. Je crois que c'est bien de leur en donner (cosméthiques, crayons, pesos convertibles ou autres) mais pensez aussi aux autres membres du staff comme les jardiniers ! Les cuisiniers qui font le BBQ le midi, le gars qui s'occuppent des activités aquatiques sur la plage. Eux aussi méritent selon moi un peu de pourboire. Bref, j'avais amené beaucoup de choses et j'ai essayer d'en donner un peu à tous les départements et à chaque fois, ils étaient supers contents.
Moi alors, je me demande souvent cette question au sujet des pourboires.
Ont-ils/elles le droit d'en recevoir? tous et chacun, y compris les serveurs au buffet? à notre dernier voyage, il nous semblait devoir être discrets... c'est qu'on s'inquiétait à savoir si on les mettait plus dans l'embarras si quelqu'un nous voyait glisser un pourboire dans leur main.
Donc, ma question est: faut-il se cacher pour ne pas leur nuire en le leur donnant?

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
