Nous revenons du Riu Turquesa après un séjour de deux semaines. D'abord, le temps était très beau et très chaud. Plus frais, les deux derniers jours (hier et avant hier) avec beaucoup de vent. Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'hôtel. Les chambres sont d'une bonne grandeur, la nourriture très bonne, nous avons vraiment fait des abus de ce côté. Le personnel est très gentil. Ils ont des attentions bien particulières. C'était l'anniversaire de ma belle-soeur et cela a été souligné le soir à la salle à manger sans qu'on le mentionne. Ils utilisent les passeports pour connaître ces informations. Bref, elle a reçu une bouteille de champagne avec les compliments de l'hôtel. Le seul hic: le soir, il n'y a rien à faire. C'est très tranquille. Un peu trop. Il y a que les spectacles qui ne sont pas d'une grande qualité. Je m'attendais à ce qu'il y ait quelque chose à faire le soir au centre-ville de Varadero. Rien à part les discos des hôtels. Cela fait trois fois que je vais à Cuba et pense prendre une pause pour cette raison. cela demeure néanmoins un excellent choix d'hôtel.

Pas de problème du côté des cocktails... ils ont une grande variété comme ailleurs dans le sud. Évidemment, ils sont toujours meilleurs quand tu les prends au bar.
Nous nous rendions assez tôt pour réserver nos chaises sur la plage la première semaine qui était plus achalandée comme c'était le congé de Pâque. La 2e semaine, pas de problème, il y avait amplement de places.
Juste en face de l'hôtel, il y a l'endroit où tu peux nager avec les dauphins.. tu peux y aller à pied.
Côté animation, c'est tranquille. Je pense que c'est une caractéristique de la chaîne Riu. Nous sommes allés en janvier dernier au Riu Tequila à Riviera Maya et c'était la même chose. En ce qui me concerne, c'est une chaîne que j'aime beaucoup.

Nous y sommes allés en mars à Pâque... la température était belle et chaude autour de 29- 30 degrés. Nous avons fait l'excursion avec les dauphins... ça vaut le coup, c'est une très belle expérience et nous sommes plus longtemps dans l'eau avec les dauphins qu'ailleurs comme au Mexique, par exemple.
Oui, le pantalon est obligatoire pour les hommes pour le souper seulement. Tu n'as pas à apporter des serviettes, l'hôtel en fournit.

J'aimerais savoir si on peu prendre des glaçons dans nos boissons........comme on est censé ne pas boire l'eau du robinet........En république dominicaine, s'était cool car les glaçons étaient importés donc aucun danger !!!!!!!
Par contre en Egypte, ils étaient fait par l'eau du robinet, donc fortement deconseillé..........

Tu peux prendre autant de glaçons que tu le souhaites. Tu n'as aucune inquiétude à boire ou à manger tout ce qu'il y a dans le buffet de cet hôtel. J'ai pris des glaçons, de la laitue ... Aucun problème. Les desserts sont particulièrement bons.

J'ai fait plusieurs voyages dont trois à Cuba et je peux te dire que c'est un très bon choix. Je ne sais pas ce que les gens avaient à reprocher à cet hôtel. Nous y sommes allés l'an dernier pour deux semaines et nous avons beaucoup aimé. Même que nous avons très bien mangé (pour la 1re fois à Cuba). Le service de l'hôtel était aussi très bien. Le seul point négatif (et encore ça dépend des attentes des gens) c'est que c'est un endroit tranquille.
Non, la clientèle n'était pas majoritairement québécoise, surtout européenne. Tu peux partir tranquille, c'est un très bon choix d'hôtel.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
