Comme ceci est mon premier message, je vais d'abord me présenté, je m'appel Jason et je suis un Canadian Français vivant au Québec et j'ai dans la mi-trentaine. Depuis mon premier voyage avec ma petite famille à Disney World en 2008, j'ai attrapper la piqûre des voyages et j'ai depuis fait quelque escapades ici et la, New-York, Mexique (Riviera Maya), le tour de la Gaspésie au Québec, le Costa Rica, Toronto et Nigara Fall et cet été, j'ai fait la Côte-Nord + un petit séjours nature sur l'Ile d'Anticosti. Comme nous ne sommes pas très riche et que je sais que je ne pourrai pas aller partout ou je voudrais sur la planète, je me suis trouvé un genre d'exécutoire avec le Canal Evasion (poste de télévision au Québec). J'y ai découvert l'émission Embarquement Immédiat (Départures) ou on n'y voit 2 Canadians faire le tour du globe à la recherche d'aventure et de connaissance. J'ai adoré cet émission et s'en est suivi les magnifiques émissions D'Ushuaia et Vue du Ciel. Finalement, je suis devenue accroc au Canal Evasion.
Maintenant, ma prochaine destination sera possiblement la Tunisie et se même si la France rode pas très loin dans ma tête. Bizzarement et contrairement à ma conjointe, je ne suis pas un amateur de soleil et de chaleur, je préfère de loin les climats frais et couvert. Évidement, je ferai un exception pour la Tunisie car il y a 5 ans, j'ai découvert que beaucoup de scènes de deux de mes films fétiches (Star Wars et Raiders of the Lost Ark) y ont été tourné et je me suis juré qu'un jour d'aller sur les trace de ses lieux de tournage. Par contre, comme mes points d'intérest ont un peu changé depuis et que je voyage avec ma conjointe et notre fille, je vais plutôt faire moitié moitié car j'aimerais bien faire aussi la fameuse excuirsion à dos de chameau et me baigner dans la Méditerrané. J'aurais environ 10 jours seulement pour en voir le maximum. Nous détestons les voyages organisés et les voyages de groupe, nous préferons être maître à bord. En voyage, nos journées commencent toujours très tôt, 5H00 6H00 du matin et se finisse tard, de la notre force pour faire le maximum de chose en peu de temps. Nous n'avons pas peur non plus de faire beaucoup de voiture ou de marche pour se rendre à un point d'intérest.
Je vais énumérer se que j'aimerais faire et vous pourez me donné votre opinion car même si je suis assez débrouilliard, je suis embêtrer sur plusieurs point, location auto où camion? réservez à l'avance où pas les hôtels? Prendre un guide ou pas?
J'aimerais voir les lieux de tournage de Star Wars pres de Nafta et en même temps y voir les Oasis. Il y a aussi dans le même coin, le canyon de Sidi Bouhlel que je ne veux pas rater. Comme, j'aurai descendu dans le sud, j'aurais aimé voir les maison troglodyte mais se n'est pas une priorité. Je veux passer au moin une demi-journée a Kairouan et plus précisément dans la Médina pour y voir la scène de poursuite à pied vue dans Raiders. J'aimerais finir sur la coté Méditerrannienne pour pouvoir profité un peu de la mer mais j'aimerais ne pas être trop loin de Tunis prêt pour le retour. Je veux absoluemt inclure un excursion à dos de chameau. Je ne sais pas trop comment fignoler tous cela et c'est pour cela que je fait appel à vous car j'ai lu plusieurs messages sur le forum et j'ai vue qu'il y avait plusieurs connaiseur et même des Tunisiens qui avait l'air de connaitre beaucoup leur pays.
Évidement, comme je voyage avec mon enfant, je me pose la fameuse question à savoir si c'est sécuritaire de sortir à l'extérieur des tout inclus. Lorsque je suis aller au Costa Rica, nous avions acheter un voyage qui incluais le véhicule et les hôtel étais résever, il nous restais seulement à se promener et arrêter la ou bon nous semble et j'ai adorer se genre de voyage contrairement au Mexique qui étais un tout inclus, j'ai vraiment pas apprécier le fait d'être obligé de suivre un groupe pour faire des excursions.

Ah oui, j'allais oublié, nous prévoyions y aller en janvier car c'est le seul temps que nous pourrons y aller l'an prochain.
Je te donne juste quelques infos pour te permettre de revoir le contenu de ton séjour ! Vue que tu ne peux te rendre en Tunisie en janvier, je tiens à te préciser qu'il peut y faire très froid, avec de la neige au nord par moments ! Ailleurs, sur le nord (Tunis etau-dessus) il pleut souvent en hiver tout comme au centre (Sousse, Kairouan, Nabeul, ...) !
Il faut oublier les bains de soleil et les baignades en mer même à Djerba, où il peut faire très beau mais aussi mauvais... Le changement climatique se ressent également en Tunisie, puisque l'hiver dernier, il a même neigé dans le désert et surtout gelé !
En Janvier tu peux orienter ton séjour vers le sud avec ses oasis, les dunes, la ballade à chameau, ses maisons troglodytes, etc....
Je te conseille de louer une voiture et de vous arrêter au fil de votre chemin dans les hôtels (ils ne sont pas du tout plein en janvier, certains de la côte seront même fermés) et cela vous permet aussi, de choisir votre hôtel selon vos priorités (propreté, décor, etc...). C'est un peu l'aventure en "mini"...
Passeport obligatoire (y compris pour ta fille), je ne sais pas si les canadiens ont besoin d'un visa ! A vérifier !

Comme mentionné plus haut, l'hiver en Tunisie (aussi surprenant que ça soit) il peut faire un peu froid! Mais attention... RIEN À VOIR avec le québec:D
Au nord, dans les montagnes, il y a effectivement de la neige parfois, sinon dans les villes comme Tunis, souvent de la pluie et vous aurez besoin d'un manteau «d'automne».
Quand on arrive au sud, ça dépend vraiment des années! L'an dernier, en décembre, on était trop bien mais fin-janvier, février, on a eu droit à des froids inhabituels... et beaucoup de pluie!!!!
Sinon, normalement la température est assez bien (pas assez pour la mer par contre!) Le jour il fait environ 20' et la nuit ça peut descendre a '5 voir 0'. La permière nuit sera «spéciale» mais après on s'habitue à ce changement de température!!!!
Pour un voyage de 10 jours (en janvier) et comme la plupart des points d'intérets y sont...je vous conseil de vous concentrer sur le sud. Vous pouvez par exemple, passer par les montagnes de Matmata vers Tataouine (il y a aussi quelques sites de Star wars là-bas...) et en vous dirigeant vers Tozeur, tamerza et chebika, vous pouvez faire un arrêt à la ville de Douz ou l'oasis de Ksar Ghilane pour l'indispensable balade à dromadaire:)
Un point que vous pouvez donner à votre conjointe est qu'en Tunisie, vous trouvez plusieurs source d'eau chaude:) Vous pouvez par exemple, passer par Ksar Ghilane et vous baigner dans la source d'eau chaude (jour comme nuit) et en profiter pour faire votre balade à dromadaire (une nuit dans la désert est une expérience à ne pas manquer!!! Votre fille appréciera l'expérience à coup sur! mais prévoir des vêtements chauds pour la nuit!)
Si vous avez l'habitude de commencer vos journées vers 5-6h du matin, vous ne devriez pas manquer trop de chose dans le sud:) Gardez-vous une journée avant votre départ pour le retour vers tunis (+/- 6h de route), vous pourrez donc vous arrêter sur la route si vous voyez des trucs qui vous interressent... :)

Si vous choissisez la Tunisie l'été, vous serez un peu plus restreints pour les activités au sud... La chaleur monte vite... Mais si c'est pour rester sur la côte, ça va bien allé:) Idéalement essayez septembre/octobre quoi qu'avec un enfant, c'est moins évident de choisir nos dates de voyage :S

J'ai le rêve de visiter la Tunisie depuis plusieurs années et je sais très bien que Cuba n'a rien à voir avec la Tunisie mais avec tout ce qui se passe dans le monde et étant donné que nous voyagerons avec un enfant, nous amons mieux le remettre à plus tard, peut-être cette été si les dieux le permettent.
J'ai commencer à lire un livre sur Cuba question de me mettre dedans et oui, il y a des plages et du soleil mais pour quelqu'un qui voudrais y voir autre chose, il y a énormément à voir sur les terres et il suffirait de louer un véhicule et partir à l'aventure pour visité le pays d'une autre façon que la plupart des touristes font.
Nous, nous allons faire un voyage pas trop cher pour se garder du budget pour le prochain voyage qui sera je l'espère de l'auttre côté de l'atlantique.
Bien sûr, je vous comprend😉 visiter la Tunisie en ces temps ci, surtout avec un enfant, c'est plus risqué. Moi, je pars en circuit, donc plus sécurisé, enfin j'espère. 😐 toute facon, j'ai plus le choix c'est payé et en plus le gouvernement du Canada n'a pas émis d'alerte rouge, alors, si je n'y vais pas, je perd mon voyage qui est payé depuis belle lurette !!!

C'est notre agente qui nous a suggéré cette endroit car ma conjointe veux faire de la plage et vue que moi, j'aime bougé, je pourrai sortir me promener faire quelque excursion et nous aurons un bon endroit pour faire de l'apnée et je compte bien initier ma fille a cette activité.

Nous aussi se sera le Playa Costa Verde et nous avons attendu plusieurs bon commentaires. Pour la première fois de tout ma vie, je vais essayer de relaxer un peu. Habituellement lorsque je suis en vacance, en voyage ou en congé, je nous tien toujours assez occupé, peut-être même trop au dire de ma blonde. Je vais essayer de lui prouver que je suis capable de prendre cela cool.

I’m leaving for Tunisia in five weeks for a full 15-day trip. I’ll be arriving in Monastir and departing from there as well.
I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.

Mid-May: arriving alone (so, a "petit taxi"?) at Marrakech airport around 4:30 PM,
is it advisable to take a taxi at the airport (cost?) or is it wiser to book one through the hotel before departure (which would cost me 20 €)?
I think I’ve seen lower fares elsewhere (12 €?).

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.
For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.
Day 1: Arrival in Hurghada in the evening
Day 2, 3, 4: Hurghada
Day 5: Hurghada, then drive to Luxor in the early afternoon
Day 6: Luxor
Day 7: Luxor, then drive back to Hurghada in the late afternoon
Day 8, 9, 10, 11: Hurghada
Day 12: Return flight
For the Hurghada trip, either rent a car or—easier—a private car/van.
Is it worth adding an extra day in Luxor?

We’re planning a trip to Morocco in September-October in our Fiat camper van, which isn’t a 4x4 but has already handled quite a bit of rough travel. While reading up on southern Morocco, we’ve been drawn to the Aguinane oasis but I’m having trouble locating it on the map. Is it possible to get there without a 4x4?
