Nous sommes une association basée dans la banlieue de dakar (à 8km de la capitale) qui intervient dans les domaines de l'éducation, la santé, l'environnement et les TIC (www.waranka.org). Nous recevons des bénévoles pendant toutes les périodes de l'année qui sont logés, nourris moyennant une participation financière.
Nous disposons d'une maternelle et d'une école primaire, avons installé une antenne des diabétiques, organisons des cours de soutien scolaire pour les élèves en classe d'examen, des cours d'alphabétisation pour les personnes non instruites et des cours d'initiation en informatique.

Chaque bénévole est logé et nourris moyannant une participation financière de 270 euros par mois pour supporter les charges d'hébergement et de fonctionnement de l'organisation.
Salut je suis Yannick responsable de 1pasdeplus Cameroun, en fait 1pasdeplus est une association Francaise qui a sont antenne au Cameroun, du coup chaque été chaque mois nous organisons des projet d'action humanitaire avec des association les bénévoles et autres c'est donc dans ce but que nous te proposons le Cameroun, a fin de venir donnez de ton temps pour les enfants, sinon nous avions justement besoin d'une personne pour venir faire du soutien scolaire et animation avec les enfants defavorise ou encor venir participer a un projet de construction d'une salle de classe en milieux rural

Nous sommes situes en pleine brousse et nous eduquons des enfants defavorises a prendre soin de leur environnement a travers un orphelinat pour animaux sauvages. Quitte à m'attirer les foudres de nombreux détracteurs, j'ai envie de crier Gare.
Partir à l'étranger pour faire du bénévolat parce que l'on a besoin de faire le vide peut se comprendre.
Sauf que s'engager ainsi nécessite une préparation pour éviter de possibles traquenards, un mal vécu pire que celui que l'on fuit. L'important étant la réussite d'un projet.
Mon expérience de 19 ans en bénévolat solidarité internationale m'a appris que si c'est un élan du coeur, ça ne suffit pas et de loin, à être efficace, donc satisfait d'une telle expérience.
Notre association a pour habitude de préparer ses partants par de nombreux échanges et une journée de formation. Nous accueillons et faisons accueillir par nos partenaires sénégalais depuis plus de 10 ans stagiaires, bénévoles et voyageurs en immersion.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. Solidafrica is a recognized humanitarian association of general interest. We donate wheelchairs in Africa. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
