Je suis un jeune étudiant en 5ème année de médecine; je pars au Congo le 24 juin pour un stage de 6 semaines à l'hôpital général de Loandjili à Pointe-Noire. J'ai décidé de prolonger mon séjour en Afrique centrale jusqu'au 18 septembre et pendant ce mois de liberté j'adorerai devenir écovolontaire au Gabon. Je suis amoureux de la nature et j'aimerai bien faire autre chose que de la médecine cet été.
Je ne connais personne au Gabon et je n'ai trouvé aucune info sur le net alors si quelqu'un avait des contacts, une expérience ou la moindre info ce serait vraiment sympa de la faire partager!

salut. Ancien étudiant en médecine lillois ( il y a longtemps), je fais un remplacement à L'hopital Schweitzer à Lambaréné jusqu'à fin septembre. Pour l'instant je n'ai pas de tuyaux à te donner, je suis arrivé depuis peu mais j'ai les mêmes centres d'intérêt . je compte me renseigner sur la Lopé, loango et mayumba; je te tiens au courant.
Salut, c'est vraiment sympa de me tenir au courant si t'as des infos, j'ai envoyé des mails, faxs et lettres sans réponses alors j'espère pouvoir trouver quand je serai sur place. Mon stage se termine le 16 août au Congo, j'espère pouvoir arriver juste après.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
