Après avoir fait une rando de 2 jours avec des chaussures neuves ( Meidl island pro) je suis revenu avec une grande douleur sur le haut des deux talons, les tendons sont légérement gonflés mais pas douloureux, c'est vraiment le haut du talon. Les chaussures sont pourtant bien à ma taille ( une demi pointure de plus que pour mes chaussures habituelle), le talon ne se décolle pas enfin bref tout est à ma taille. Ce sont des chaussons sur les premiers 10km mais petit à petit la douleur arrive.
J'èspère que cela vient du fait que les chaussure ne sont pas encore completement faite ( +/- 80 km avec). De plus on me fait souvent remarquer que je suis souvent trop poussif dans mes efforts (je devrais peu etre pas marcher 20km d'un coup avec des chaussures qui sont pas encore faite?)
je n'ai jamais rencontré ce genre de pb auparavant qd j'avais mes vielle chaussures et qu'elle etait pas faite (d4 forclaz). Si d'autre utilisateur de island mfs ont rencontré ce genre de soucis je serais plus rassuré. je trouverai emmerdant de devoir passé toute une batterie de consultation pour savoir que ca vient pas de mes chaussures mais d'un pb niveau de mon anatomie.

Le fait que les 2 talons soient touchés en même temps donne fortement à penser qu'il s'agit d'un problème lié aux chaussures. Tige trop rigide? Forme inadaptée à votre morphologie?
Je ne suis pas cordonnier! Je pense que ça va dépendre du type de matériau et de ce qui appuye trop contre tes pieds. Si c'est du cuir ça me parait possible. Le synthétique? je ne sais pas. Si tu peux trouver un bon cordonnier il pourrait t'aider à trouver ce qui ne joue pas et éventuellement influencer la forme de la chaussure.Si non n'insiste pas, tu risques de rendre chronique cette inflammation.

Parceque le "haut du talon" çà s'appelle le tendon d'Achille!
Une inflammation (surtout si c'est enflé) peut être très handicapante et très longue à soigner quand on tarde!
Pour les chaussures, il faudra peut être mettre une semelle intèrieure avec un bon amorti du talon, de type sorbothane.

A priori c'est un problème des chaussures neuves. Le frottement répété contre une tige neuve et rigide entraine des lésions tendineuses.
Vous parlez de "haut du talon", j'entends bien l'insertion du tendon d'Achille sur le bord postérieur du calcanéum. Ça s'appelle une tendinite d'insertion, plus embêtante qu'une simple tendinite du corps du tendon.
Parfois la proéminence du bord postérieur du calcanéum est anormale, un chirurgien spécialiste de l'arrière-pied peut remédier ce défaut.
Mais ne vous précipitez pas avant d'avoir corrigé les autres facteurs.
En attendant que les chaussures s'assouplissent, vous pouvez utiliser une plaque de mousse (que l'on utilise en France dans les supermarchés pour séparer les grappes de raisin🙂), pour mettre entre vos chaussettes et la tige montante des chaussures.

N'est-ce pas simplement une lésion cutanée liée aux frottements ? Cela arrive fréquemment avec des chaussures neuves, ou mal adaptées. Enfin ce que vous décrivez y laisse penser. Pour avoir testé, je sais que ça peut être extrêmement douloureux !!!
A l'époque où je devais porter des rangers, après les avoir assouplie et "casser", je mettais ceci sur le haut de mon talon (voir ci-dessous). C'est un adhésif spécial, bien résistant, qui une fois collée ne bouge plus (sauf à force d'usure mais sur une journée pas de soucis). Avec de bonnes chaussettes (il ne faut pas hésiter à mettre le prix), je n'avais strictement plus aucun souci de frottements et donc plus de talons douloureux ! Il m'arrive encore d'en utiliser pour la rando ou le ski.
J'ai été consulté mon medecin qui m'a bien confirmer que c'était bel et bien une tendinite d'insertion. Il m'a donc conseillé de passer voir un cordonier ( ce que je n'ai pas encore fait) ainsi qu'une pause d'un mois et demi sans rando ( pas grave, je fait ma trève hivernale, quoique j'aurais bien passer un ou deux week end dehors 😕).
Je continue donc de faire mes chaussures sur de petits déplacements en mettant une petite plaque de mousse et une deuxieme paire de chaussette.
La plus longue utilisation avec depuis s'est limité à 4 heures, et j'ai eu légerement mal à la fin.

Je suis (ou j'étais) sujet aux tendinites (Achille, genou, côté de la cheville), je connais un peu le sujet.
Il te faut boire beaucoup, des eaux minérales, tisanes, etc.; rester impérativement au repos, et ne surtout pas mettre les chaussures qui ont causé le problème.
Une tendinite peut s'aggraver, devenir irréversible et nécessiter une opération. Sans parler du possible sectionnement pur et simple du tendon d'Achille, là c'est parti pour des mois et des années de galères.
Il y a une différence entre le frottement qui irrite la peau et crée des ampoules et la pression exercée sur le tendon, cela ne sert à rien de placer de la mousse sur des chaussures qui sont non adaptées ou trop rigides pour ta morphologie. Nous n'avons pas tous les mêmes pieds, une super chaussure pour Machin sera mauvaise pour Bidule.
Je ne puis que te conseiller d'arrêter immédiatement d'utiliser ces chaussures, de passer 2 mois sans rando, d'éviter les facteurs aggravants (charcuterie, mauvaise hydratation, etc.) et de tenter dans 2 mois de marcher 10 ou 15 minutes avec tes chaussures, une fois par semaine, puis 20 minutes, etc. jusqu'à ce que tu puisses les utiliser plus d'une heure sans ressentir quelques jours après de mal aux tendons. Tu dois attendre quelques jours car bien souvent le problème n'émerge qu'après 2 ou 4 jours.
Évite aussi de prendre des anti-inflammatoires (si on t'en a prescrit) avant de tester tes chaussures, cela peut masquer le problème et l'aggraver.
Réponse tardive, mais avec qq bonne nouvelle. Après consultation chez un podologue, j'appris que la chaussure n'etait au final pas adapté à ma morphologie. les 3/4 du pied était tranquille dans ces chaussures, mais la recherche à révélé que mes talons (et seulement les talons 🙁) etaient trop fins et donc se baladaient légèrement. Je suis donc reparti faire pas mal d'essayage au vieux pour trouvé la paire qui me fallait, soit des Tibet pro de lowa (chaussant plus fin que Meindl).
j'ai don revendu mes island à un ami qui avait le pied un peu plus large que le mien et ça réaction à été immédiate "des chaussons". Je suis actuellement en train de casser mes nouvelles chaussures, néanmoins la différence est flagrante, après 1 semaine au pied, aucune douleur dans les talons, et mes talons ne bougent absolument pas (le repos sportif à surement du aider aussi), j'attend désormais le test terrain, avec optimisme.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility.
