Mon nom est François, j'ai 18 ans et je fais partie d'une association belge de développement rural qui est actuellement sur divers projets très concrets au Sénégal, Mali et Mauritanie.
Chaque année, 2 groupes de jeunes de 16-18ans partent 15 jours avec notre association pour découvrir une culture particulière et vive d'autres réalités.
J'ai suivi cette filière l'an passé et j'en suis absolument satisfait!
Cette année-ci (2005) je pars pour 7 mois au Sénégal pour monter un projet de coopératives fromagère tout neuf !
Je suis actuellement seul sur le projet et à la recherche d'un ou plusieurs jeunes motivés pour le concrétiser.

Je suis très content de savoir que je ne suis pas le seul mineur à vouloir faire de l'humanitaire!!! 🙂 En tout cas, c'est pas si mal, il commence a y avoir du monde qui voudrait participer à ce projet... dont toi! Alors, j'ai déjà commencé à contacter différents organismes humanitaires (une dizaine je crois)... dont j'ai reçu les réponses!😎 C'est super! Y'a pas mal d'ouverture pour nous tous! Bon... c'est sûr, il faudra débourser une certaine somme d'argent pour le billet d'avion, logement, nourriture, etc... 😕 mais tout ça reste à voir!!! Par exemple... on pourrait se louer un logement à plusieur... On va se débrouiller!😛 Donc... je crois que c tout ce que j'ai fait cette semaine... alors, je crois que c'est pas mal ça pour l'instant! ton projet nous interesse. nous sommes une asso au sénégal dont le siège est à Noiron sur seine (21). I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
