Je reviens juste d'un voyage au Mali, et tous ceux comme moi qui connaissent l'Afrique savent que l'on en revient tres différents. Nostalgie quand tu nous tient !!!
Mon amour pour ce continent et l'aventure me pousse a aller plus loin.
J'ai un projet pour les mois dété 2007, qui serait de me rendre en Afrique afin de preter main forte dans un orphelinat. Etant animatrice l'été en colo en France, j'ai vraiment envie de passer un moment en tant que Toubab pour m'occuper de ces pti bouts Africain, et d'aider le personnel sur place.
J'ai déja regardé sur internet plusieurs sites qui propose des chantiers jeunes, mais ce n'est pas du tout dans cette optique la que s'est construit mon projet pour l'Afrique. Apres m'etre fait "avoir " l'an dernier par une assoc peu scrupuleuse avec qui je devais me rendre en RDC, j'en viens a vous demander un pti peu d'aide pour faire avancer mon projet.
Ce que je recherche avant tout sur ce site, c'est des contacts, des personnes qui pourront m'aider, me renseigner ... ou qui ont la meme envie que moi..

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
