Nous revenons tout juste du Diva, nous logions en pilotis côté est avec une vue sur la barrière de corail qui me laisse nostalgique. Je ne comprends absolument pas les avis négatifs notamment à propos des restaurants, nous avons dîné dans tous les restaurants, ils sont réellement délicieux et variés. Nous avons aimé le Senses (libano indien) où le service est particulièrement soigné, les autres restaurants nous ont également donné satisfaction, en revanche nous n’avons pas testé le japonais non compris dans la formule demi-pension et bien trop cher. Comme nous étions du coté pilotis est, nous étions près de la réception ce qui était très pratique pour demander un buggy, le plus longtemps que nous ayons attendu a été 15 mn mais en général en 5 mn, la voiturette arrivait. Pour aller au bout de l’île, effectivement il faut passer devant le logement des locaux (bien protégé par de la végétation), je ne vois vraiment pas où est le préjudice. Le parc est magnifique et les 2 piscines à débordement également. C’est vrai qu’à marée basse, il n’est pas aisé de se baigner d’où l’utilité des piscines mais à marée haute le lagon se révèle plein de surprises avec de jolis poissons. Le personnel est agréable et souriant, la chambre impeccable.
Tous les soirs à 17 h 30, au restaurant East, on nourrit les raies, spectacle garantie et sur les pilotis ouest ce sont les requins qui se régalent.
Le seul bémol serait les prix de tous les extras vraiment excessifs. Pour le café, nous le prenions dans notre pilotis, cafetière et café à disposition, également 2 bouteilles d’eau 25 cl matin et soir. En revanche tous les soirs nous prenions du vin à table et le rosé du chili à 35 $ a toujours été disponible et tout à fait correct au niveau du goût.
Les sorties snorkling à 20 $ sont très bien, celles à 50 $ ne sont pas mieux, donc optez de préférence pour les premières.
Si vous devez partir au Diva, soyez rassurés, vous passerez d'excellentes vacances. Certes il y a eu des problèmes mais nous avons eu le bonheur qu'ils soient réglés pour notre séjour.

Bonjour, je viens de lire vos commentaires concernant l'hotel diva et suis très intéressée puisque nous envisageons d'aller y passer 15 jours en mars 2010. Nous pensons opter pour une beach villa ou beach pool villa mais nous nous demandions s'il y avait un coté plus agréable que l'autre (entre Est et Ouest??). En ce qui concerne la restauration nous nous demandons si prendre la demi-pension ou pension complète est une bonne idée car l'on ne peut accéder qu'aux 2 restaurants principaux (les autres étant en supplément)????
Avez-vous encore en mémoire une idée des prix demandés pour un plat principal dans les différents restaurants????
Vous parlez de marée basse est-ce réellement un problème??? Nous partons tous les ans aux maldives et c'est la première fois que j'en entend parler. Peut-êre est-ce lié à la situation de l'atoll????

La demi pension comme la pension complète donne droit à tous les restaurants sauf le japonais (où il n'y a jamais personne et qui est hors de prix) sinon vous pouvez allez dans 4 restaurants, simplement pour l'italien et le libanais il faut réserver à l'avance. Si vous avez bon appetit prenez la pension complète, je me souviens qu'un fish and ships valait environ 30 $.
A marée basse, du pilotis on n'avait pas assez d'eau pour nager réellement, je pensais que c'était habituel aux Maldives.
Sincèrement pour les beach villas, je ne me souviens plus quel côté est le meilleur, en tout cas je les ai visité, elles sont très bien.

A priori cela correspond en tous points à ce que vient de me dire mon agence (après renseignements auprès de l'hotel) En ce qui concerne la marée, par goût nous ne prenons plus de pilotis, nous préférons les villas plage et il est vrai que nous n'avons jamais vu de marée basse en départ de plage (mais bon je pense que ce n'est pas le plus important ; l'important étant d'y être!!!!). Merci pour vos photos c'est sympa. Malheureusement les pool villas sont complètes pour notre période!! Peut-être nous mettrons nous en liste d'attente mais je n'y crois pas trop donc je pense que nous allons opter pour les beach villas "normales". Nous sommes plongeurs et amateurs de bronzette donc pour le peu de temps que nous passons à la villa ce n'est pas une priorité. Merci encore pour vos infos.
Je ne connais pas le Diva, mais par contre, je connais bien les hôtels de Maurice, ses cousins de chez Naiade! C'est du top dans tout l'ocean Indien, les prestations y sont excellentes!

Si votre budget le permet, c'est bien sûr l'idéal d'être en all inclusive, les personnes qui y étaient avaient l'air tout à fait satisfaites.
En revanche attention le soleil tape fort et pour un bébé de 18 mois ce n'est pas l'idéal. Dommage que vous n'ayez pas une gentille mamy pour vous garder le petit. Quoiqu'il en soit, je vous souhaite d'excellentes vacances.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). Is the latter one reliable?
