Je voudrais être sur que l'hotel KENZI FARAH à Marrakech vaut bien ses 5 étoiles. J'ai lu tout et n'importe quoi sur certains forums.

Non cet hotel ne vaut absolument pas les 5 étoiles annoncées, si tu compares au classement européen, cela équivaut à un 3 étoile et encore certaines chambres sont délabrées, souvent propres mais délabrées, personnel pas toujours sympa, les "à côtés" hors de prix (ils se rattrappent la dessus) en pleine saison piscine trop petite..... repas quelconques...
c'est un hotel "usine à touristes " comme il en existe plein à Marrakech (et ailleurs)
c'est un choix de "vie" ou plutot de "vacances" que d'aller dans ce genre d'établissement....
mais certains aiment.... la mediocrité et être entassé les uns sur les autres, ou alors le budget est serré et on ne peut pas faire autrement que cette formule,
bon séjour à Marrakech, soyez les bienvenus......

Bonjour ! J'y suis allée en octobre 2006. Depuis il a peut-être changé mais je vous donne mon impression :
La chambre était grande, propre, calme.
La nourriture soignée, internationale, beau buffet. Rien à dire de négatif
L'environnement très verdoyant et fleuri, calme, belles piscines ext. et int.
Jolie terrasse extérieure bien ombragée.
Personnel discret mais sympathique.
Donc hôtel agréable mais ce n'est tout de même un 5* de chez nous (France ou Suisse) plutôt un 4*. Le seul bémol pour moi (mais je ne connaissais pas à l'époque) c'est l'emplacement : à 15 mn de la médina, d'accord c'est pas très loin à pied mais *l'ambiance* de Marrakech n'y est pas. Je vais y retourner très prochainement et j'ai choisi un Dar, plus intime, plus chaleureux et surtout dans la médina près de la place Jamaal el Fna

Tu peux comprendre que lorsque l'on choisit une destination aussi touristique que marrakech, le choix de l'hotel est assez difficile alors on se concentre sur l'emplacement (qui parait idéale pour le KENZI FARAH) et le classement de l'hotel.
Je vais essayer d'insister auprès du voyagiste pour avoir une chambre sympa pour passer une semaine agréable.

merci ahmes enfin des infos rassurantes. J'était au courant du déclassement d'une étoile environ pour les hotels mais j'ai lu des choses totalement opposées sur cet hotel ce qui me paraissait inquiétant.

Un dar c'est une petite maison par rapport à un riad qui, en principe, est plus grand,
mais par exemple nous, nous avons çi un riad par sa forme et sa conception mais qui reste petit (140 m² au sol)
Un dar c'est comme une maison d'hôtes, c'est normalement assez petit, 3 à 4 chambres avec douche et wc, en général avec une terrasse, une petite salle à manger, un petit coin repos. Le riad est un peu plus grand, voir beaucoup plus grand pour certains qui frisent la mention d'hôtel.
Le dar est plus convivial, beaucoup plus intime qu'un hôtel, on se sent "plus chez soi". Le plus dur c'est de trouver le bon endroit car il y a beaucoup d'arnaques.
Dans le même budget (Kenzi Farah 525€ la semaine en ch double + ptit dej pour 2personnes), aurais tu des conseils à donner?

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

However, online, I’ve found two sites for making this reservation:
The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
