· Source thermale d’Abainou : à 15 km de Guelmim centre (à droite au premier carrefour sur la route de sidi ifni), la température de l’eau est de 39° C et est reconnu pour la guérison des maladies rhumatismales. · Source thermale de Lalla Malouka : elle se situe à 10 km du centre de la commune rurale d’Aday (proche banlieue de Tafraout !), la température de l’eau est de 39° C.

non non, moi je parle d'une source à maximum 5 km d'Agadir et pas très connue ni des touristes, ni des locaux j'aimerai savoir si quelqu'un d'autre sur ce forum connait, perso je connais mais quand j'y ai été j'étais la seule étrangère, pas une autre voiture, que des gens du coin

je ne connnais pas le nom du village, d'ailleurs il n'y a pas de plaque l'indiquant, je sais y aller par la piste
il faut prendre à droite avant la route qui mène à Agadir Oufla et après ..... moi j'ai des repéres quand j'y vais mais il n'y a aucune indication
j'ai connu que cet endroit par la personne ou je loue la voiture
peut être que Pirouette à plus d'indication que moi, car je pense que nous parlons du même endroit

expliquer içi me semble difficile voir impossible, et ce n'est pas parce que je ne veux pas le dire, mais c'est une piste et c'est quand je suis sur cette piste que je retrouve mon chemin, car aucune indication, pas de panneau, rien de rien j'ai pris des repères et grace à ceux çi quand 2 pistes se croissent je sais que je dois prendre à droite ou à gauche. se baigner on ne peut pas, mais prendre une douche oui le soir impossible d'y aller car comment faire pour retrouver son chemin?, à cette période de l'année je dirais qu'il faut y aller vers midi la personne qui m'a fait connaitre cette endroit, tu vas la rencontrer il s'agit de Hicham le loueur de voiture, je t'avais bien dis qu'il était plus qu'un loueur de voiture . Il a le fameux sens de l'hospitalité marocaine et si tu lui demandes de t'emmener à cette endroit, il le fera sans problème, sans rien demander en échange car sinon ce n'est plus le sens de l'hospitalité. Evidemment si il n'est pas libre, c'est une autre histoire et c'est sans problème que je t'y conduirais. J'espère que Raoulx ne vas pas me taxer de "rabateuse" car je cite souvent cette agence de location de voiture, mais je trouve tellement ce monsieur gentil et hospitalié un "vrai gentil" comme j'appelle ce genre de personnes, que je ne peux m'enpêcher de le conseiller.J'ai fais un copier coller d'un mail que j'ai reçu de personnes à qui j'avais conseiller l'agence, et moi je suis contente quand tout se passe bien et que je reçois ce genre de courrier.Là ce monsieur a rencontré au moins "3 vrais gentils"

Vous aviez raison, c’est une société comme on aimerait en trouver plus souvent. A notre arrivée à Agadir, un jeune homme nous attendait à la descente de la coupée avec un panneau à mon nom. Il était accompagnée d', un responsable de la société qui représentait je pense Hachim et le contact a été très cordial. Le jeune homme nous a accompagné jusqu’à une station pour faire le plein et ensuite nous mis sur la route de Taroudant. Sans lui, je ne sais pas à quelle heure nous serions partis d'Agadir. Sommes arrivés à 11H00 à Taroudant et avons trouvé un guide très gentil qui nous a fait visiter la ville. Nous avons déjeuné avec lui dans un petit restaurant sur la place principale de la ville (tajines et brochettes) et, lui aussi, après la visite de l'apr-ès-midi, nous a guidé avec sa mobylette pour nous mettre sur la route d’Agadir afin que nous ne perdions pas de temps (Tout ça pour 5dhrs). Nous sommes arrivés au port à 17H00 pour un embarquement à 17H15. A peine avions nousappareiller que nous recevions un SMS d’Hachim nous souhaitant bon voyage et s’excusant de n’avoir pu nous rencontrer. Que des gentillesses de tout le monde.

TU PREND A DROITE AVANT DE MONTER A AGADIR OUFELLE
tu as une piste sinueuse au prenier branchement a 3 km environ tu prend a gauche
tu suis la piste qui grimpe tres legerement jusqu au village et ta source se troiuce a droite du village pres d un tres long mur

il suffit de suivre la piste PRINCIPALE pas ses derivations
pour plus de precision
il y a un depot a droite sur la piste que tu depasse et le croisement principal il y a une petite batisse c est la que tu prend la piste a gauche

Je crois que vouas parlez de la source de Tildi (ou Sidi Hmad o Mhend), sur la périphérique Agadir - Port, tourner à droite vers. La source se localise à 5 KM au nord est d´agadir.

c'est bien volontiers, pas de soucis pour février, moi je suis là quasiment toute l'année il y a d'autres petits endroits comme ça à Agadir et sa région immédiate, je pense notemment au rocher du diable je vais faire une petite liste de tout ces endroits méconnus et essayer de les décrire le mieux possible. à bientôt cordialement chantal

j'ai été à la source avec Margaux, à part quelques habitants du village qui parlent berbère, nous n'avons rencontrés personne parlant français donc je ne connnais toujours pas le nom de ce village. Par contre je confirme que cette source est bien chaude et qu'il y a 3 pistes pour y arriver, elles sont bien visible de Agadir Oufla. cordialement Chantal

Je suis curieux de découvrir cette nouvelle source. Celle dont je parle est située à Ait Lamine. Deux pistes depuis Agadir... C'est un jet d'eau impressionnant de plusieures dizaines de mètres si elle n'était pas contenue par une vanne. Elle est à température de 45°C et contient des minéraux magiques pour la santé..

voila a quoi ressemble la source située a la sortie d'agadir..mais pour s'y baigner il faut demander au gardien de vous ouvrir la cabane ou sont installées les vannes un peu plus haut..l'eau est chaude au moins 40 degrés...régales toi bien!!

😉en effet!!!ce doit etre une manie car j'ai fait de meme a ait bekkou ou il y avait des sacs plastic partout et meme des couches bébés usagées...les vauclusiens ont attrapé le virus..geneviève m'a téléphoné hier ..ils ont pris un billet pour agadir et arriveront le 29/01/09..2jours avant moi!!!on louera sans doute une seule voiture...avec direction assistée!!🙂

Here’s a first draft for a 14-night itinerary during the Christmas break with two teens. We’re especially fond of hiking (nothing too extreme, though), which is why we’re drawn to the south.
- Marrakech (2 nights) - Aït Ben Haddou (1 night) - Dadès (3 nights, though we’re thinking of doing a day trip to the Todra Gorge on one of those days) - M'hamid (1 night) - Erg Chigaga (1 night) - 4 nights to slot in - Marrakech (2 nights)
Okay, I realize this involves a lot of driving, and we’re still debating the return route since we’d like to avoid the Tichka Pass in January, but going through Taroudant seems like it would add *a lot* of time. 😕
If you’ve got other suggestions for an itinerary with great hikes, I’m all ears!
Also, the 4 nights total in MRK isn’t really our preference, but since we’re arriving/departing super early from overseas, we’d like to be a bit rested before the long flight.
Another question: For hikes (aside from the desert one), is it better to have a guide with us, or are the trails well-marked?

Basically, our route would be:
Marrakech - Aït Benhaddou
Skoura - Tinghir - Merzouga
Merzouga via the N12 to Zagora
Zagora - Draa Valley - Marrakech
It seems to be the low season, so I’d love to travel without having to book accommodations in advance. In other countries, pre-booking has restricted us and kept us from visiting unplanned sites. Freedom is important to us, but I’d also like to avoid arriving somewhere and finding nothing available. What do you recommend? Book ahead or not? Our plan: to explore Morocco from November 2nd to December 4th. We’ll have our own vehicle (a 2011 Renault Grand Scenic, in great condition), shipped with us from Sète to Tanger Med. Returning from Nador.
Our profile: 75 and 62 years young, so old but happy to be, in very good health. Seasoned travelers—it’s practically our whole life. Lovers of beautiful landscapes, historic sites, fine craftsmanship, and road trips. This will be my 3rd trip to Morocco, but the first two were 20 and 17 years ago. I’ve never been north of the Essaouira-Marrakech line (though I’ve gone further south). As for my husband, a lifelong expat including in Muslim countries, it’s his first time in Morocco.
He’s the one driving. He’s very experienced, cautious, not necessarily fast, but used to driving in all conditions (and countries, including the most creative on the road). But I don’t want to tire him out, and he no longer drives at night (and we’ll be there in November).
I’ve decided to show him a bit of everything by taking a road trip along beautiful backroads, with daily distances averaging 180-200 km (except on highways, which will be rare), regularly broken up by rest days. I’m counting on a speed of 40-50 km/h, plus stops/visits along the way.
Since I’ve read so many posts, I’ve narrowed it down to some very specific questions.
1) Coming directly from Rabat via the highway, we’d prefer to skip Marrakech*. Still, we’ll need to sleep somewhere nearby. We’ll head toward Skoura the next day. Does anyone have a well-located address for this route, possibly east of Marrakech? Ideally, we’re looking for a small town, easy parking, clean accommodation (minimum) with average comfort (or better if available), a bit heated, and if possible, pretty and/or nice—but above all, a place to sleep well, wash with lukewarm (ideally hot) water, and have a decent dinner.
(*Explanation for the "no-go" in Marrakech: it’s a shame, because there are truly beautiful things in this city, but I think the vibe won’t suit us—it’s an understatement for "it’ll put us off" / "make us flee" / "traumatize us." Not because it’s too crowded and we want to stand out from tourists (we’re part of them), but because of forced henna on your hand, or spending 10 minutes every quarter-hour saying "no thank you" to a "guide" who’s as much a guide as I am a trapeze artist. Knowing us, it’ll wear us down. The country is vast and beautiful, and our time too short to waste our memories just days after arriving. And I don’t want to ruin things for my peaceful husband, or he’ll demand we turn back—and Sète in November isn’t exactly thrilling either.)
2) Which route to Skoura (in 2 days)? I see two options: either via the Tichka Pass, with a night in Telouet before reaching Skoura, or via the R307/N23 from Demnate, with a night near Megdaz before descending to Skoura. So: Tichka Pass or R307/N23? I have a slight (big) preference for the second option, even though I know the other route is very beautiful too. Of course, before deciding, we’ll check the weather and the current state of the R307/N23—does anyone know where to get info on the road conditions? But even assuming the road is "passable," is it a bit too tough in itself? In short, is it reasonable? If a kind soul could share their experience, a thousand thanks in advance.

I’ve read through the various discussions about the country, but I’m still a bit unsure🤪: for currency exchange, I saw on the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs website that withdrawing currency with a bank card from ATMs is limited to 200 TND per week. There are four of us traveling by car, so that might be a bit tight! And it’s a hassle to carry a lot of cash, even if I’m not being paranoid! What do you all recommend?

I’ve started making a few pre-bookings for hotels and apartments to rent in Algiers. At first, I received friendly and welcoming responses. Then, when I mentioned I wanted to stay for two or three weeks—maybe even a month—explaining that my trip wouldn’t be strictly touristy but more of a pilgrimage to the places of my childhood, and that it would likely be a very emotional journey, I expected a positive and warm reaction to my approach. Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...
Anyone here who can share their experience of returning? I specified “recently” because it seems that right now, diplomatic relations between the two governments are extremely tense, not to say hostile... even if Macron claims otherwise...

- Does it need to cover the entire duration of the trip?
- Is this document mandatory for a hotel to rent a room?

I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.
