Quelqu'un est-il déjà allé, récemment, à l'hôtel Sugar Beach à Maurice? A l'agence on m'a dit qu'il a été rénové il y a un an.
Pourrait-il me donner des infos sur cet hôtel, (situation, acitivités, nourriture etc....); Il est situé à côté de la Pirogue et l'on peut, paraît-il, aller de l'un à l'autre pour les restos ou les activités.

La Pirogue **** et le Sugar Beach *****, du même groupe, sont côte à côte et l'on peut passer de l'un à l'autre pour la restauration comme pour les activités, de ce fait la plage est très étendue. Le premier est principalement axé sur les sports nautiques, le second pour le terrestre.
Hello, nous avons été au Sugar Beach avant et après rénovation.
La plage est très belle, les chambres sont neuves mais toujours 4étoiles et petites, mais beaucoup ont l'avantage d'avoir une vue mer.
Une piscine calme réservée aux adultes, à débordement face à la mer, très belle.
Une autre piscine très grande, nombreux transat, bons matelas, bon service.
Le gros point fort c'est la restauration, très bonne qualité. (Buffet, Tides en bord de mer et restauration de poisson -les pieds dans le sable, et le Citronella plus méditerranéen.)
Tu peux profiter des installations de la Pirogue, surtout du restaurant en bord de piscine.
Si tu as besoin je dois avoir pas mal de photos.

C'est ce que l'agence m'a dit et c'est ce que j'ai lu aussi sur plusieurs sites; je trouve que c'est déjà pas mal.
Sinon, le reste me semble bien surtout pour les restos.
Oui 40m².. en comptant la terrasse. Elles sont bien pas de soucis à avoir, mais a standing égal, rien à voir avec le Paradis par exemple.
J'oubliais de préciser que le Sugar Beach est pas mal orienté famille, et surtout la Pirogue.
Si tu décides de séjourner dans cet hôtel, demande à ton agence une chambre Villa et surtout pas Manoir. En effet pour le même prix les chambres manoirs sont identiques mais mal isolées, et 30% d'entres elles sont à l'arrière du batiment sans vue mer alors que les chambres Villas ont toutes une vue mer, plus disséminées dans le parc, au premier étage ave un balcon.
Elles sont plus loin aussi du restaurant et des parties communes donc plus silencieuses.
je suis allé au Sugar beach l'année dernière l'hotel avait été refait et
j'y retourne dans 8 jours l'hotel est super, le personnel est très attentionné comme tout
les mauriciens.
par contre si ton budget le permet choisis plutôt une villa beach plutôt qu'une chambre dans
le manoir.
Tu as plusieurs piscines, le calme est absolu, la nourriture est excellente.
Tu pourras avoir accès à l'hotel d'à coté la Pirogue.
Tu seras du bon côté de l'ile car à l'ouest de l'ile il y a moins de vent et les plages sont
magnifiques.
Si tu ne connais pas l'ile maurice tu vas forcement adorer lorsque tu y vas pour la première
fois c'est comme une drogue tu y retourneras forcement même avec 11 heures 30 de vol.
Je reste à ta disposition jus'au 22 octobre après je pars là bas.
pour les chambres il me semble qu'elles sont situées ds les villas à l'étage; je vais vérifier, sinon tu crois que l'on serait déçu côté manoir?
après, si tout le reste (parc, plage, repas, activités) est bien, les chambres on fera avec pour une fois!
Nous y passerons 10 nuits et on en profitera pour visiter les alentours aussi.A ce sujet, pour visiter, les taxis sont-ils chers ou faut-il négocier le prix avant d'y monter?

il faut surtout éviter les taxis des hôtels qui sont plus chères. Pour les autres vous pouvez négocier un peu mais préparez vos destinations avant sinon les chauffeurs on tendance à vous emmener où ils veulent.
Si tu es en villa à l'étage c'est aussi bien qu'en RDC. C'est mieux que le manoir.
Les taxis devant le sugar ne sont pas forcement excessifs mais tu peux toujours
négocier.

avec quel tour opérateur pars-tu.
Si tu es amateur de pêche au gros ou de ballade en catamaran je peux te donner
des adresses.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
