Il y a des médicaments qui sont interdit au Vietnam sauf en cas de nécessité obligatoire de la personne qui voyage pour sa santé, donc il vaut mieux une ordonnance du médecin car ce n'est pas la première fois que des touristes ont des problèmes en arrivant à la frontière .
Fais une cherche sur Rechercher des messages il y a des post dont des vacanciers raconte .

Je me souviens que quelqu'un a soulevé le cas d'un trafiquant de drogues qui s'est fait arreter à la frontière du Laos. Il se fait passer pour un lombalgique avec des quantités de médicaments ainsi que la nature des médicaments sans aucune mesure ave sa maladie. Avec l'intervention du consulat de France, il était libéré mais en résidence surveillée jusqu'à la fin de l'enquete puis il a été reconnu coupable et mis en prison.
Pour le lecteur DIVX, je ne sais pas si tu vas en trouver à Nha Trang. En tout cas, au VietNam, les lecteurs de DVD coutent plus cher qu'en Europe.

Comme l'écrit Barbot, il est interdit d'importer des médicaments au Vietnam.Sauf ceux que vous devez prendre à condition d'avoir l'ordonnance du médecin avec vous.Et c'est très strict et très surveillé.
Le Vietnam n'est pas un pays en voie de développement avec des enfants rachitiques à tous les coins de rues.
Donc si vous comptiez vider votre armoire à médicaments et en profiter pour aller les donner sur place, oubliez.

Puisque tu t'interroges, je t'apporte les informations suivantes. Pour que quelqu'un soit arrêté avec des stocks de médicaments, il faudrait qu'il eussse déjà été pisté par le service secret vietnamien. A l'aéroport de Tan Son Nhat, vous n'êtes nullement fouillé et en tout cas beaucoup moins qu'à l'aéroport de Charles de Gaulle. Il m'est arrivé qu'on m'avait demandé si je transportais des médicaments, j'ai répondu rien que des médicaments préventifs pour mon usage personnel sans que je sois obligé de dire lesquels et on m'a laissé sortir sans autre question et j'avais dans la valise (Doliprane, Ercéfuryl, Clamoxyl, Doxycycline et Lariam, Betadine) et je n'avais aucune ordonnance pour ces médicaments et pour ceux du forum qui me connaissent, ils comprennent la raison pour laquelle je n'ai pas besoin d'ordonnance sur moi mais c'en est une autre histoire.
En ce qui concerne le français d'origine vietnamienne, il s'est fait arrêté à la frontière laotienne, venant de Bangkok. Il souffrait d'après ce qu'il disait d'une lombalgie aigue et on trouvait sur lui un stock de valium. Je sais qu'en France, les toubibs donnent des arrêts de travail pour les lumbagos !!! On peut s'interroger sur la motivation de quelqu'un qui se plaigne d'une lombalgie qui fait si mal et qui va faire plus de mille km de pistes du Laos! Je ne serais pas fier non plus d'être à la place du médecin français qui prescrit du Valium pour des lombalgies....
Pour compléter votre info, bientôt une nouvelle loi va permettre l'importation libre de tous les médicaments mais je ne suis pas sûr qu'on va laisser les trafiquants faire leur besogne.

Tu as bien fait de souligner tout ça et oui entre ce qu'ils disent aux infos et la réalité ça fait deux, mais bon les gens deviennent de plus en plus méfiant à force des choses surtout si ils ne sont pas habituer à voyager .
Un flash comme ils en ont parler ( tv et presse ) il y a quelques mois faut comprendre aussi les questions à venir .

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
