Nous sommes 2 étudiante en 2ème année d'éducatrice de jeunes enfants dans le cadre de notre formation on nous laisse la possibilité d'effectuer un stage de 4 à 6 semaines à l'étranger. On souhaite éffectuer ce stage soit au sein d'une pouponnière soit au sein d'un orphelinat, d'un école pour nous rendre utile auprès de ces enfants et de ces habitants. 1 de nous aura déjà effectuer un stage à la poupnnière de chambery. Nous sommes vraiment vraiment motivée pour partir, pouvez- vous nous aider à réaliser ce projet?

Nous pouvons t'aider à réaliser ton projet. Nous avons l'habitude d'accueillir et faire accueillir par nos structures partenaires bénévoles et stagiaires, depuis plusieurs années, au Sénégal.
Depuis 1992, nous y accompagnons les structures essentiellement rurales, en démarche de projets pour un mieux-vivre local et travaillons donc sur plusieurs filières, y compris de formation et de santé.
Nous préparons au départ, au séjour et au retour tous ceux qui partent à travers nous.
Prochaine journée : 8 décembre, clôture des inscriptions 3 décembre.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
