Lors d'un précédent voyage en Asie je me suis rendu compte qu'il existait des orphelinats coupés du monde sans aucun contact avec le gouvernement local et encore moins avec des ONG ou associations étrangères. Ils ne doivent leur salut qu'aux maigres dons fournis par les touristes de passage et surtout à l'extème dévouement de leurs responsables qui sacrifient leur vie pour ces mômes.
Mon amie et moi partons pour un grand tour sur notre belle planète le 1er Janvier prochain pour au moins 12 mois (et plus si le budget le permet!). Nous imaginions mal partir faire un voyage égoïste de plusieurs mois. C'est pourquoi on a décidé de le rentabiliser humanitairement (ces 2 mots n'ont pas l'habitude d'être dans la même phrase!). L'idée est de visiter les orphelinats des pays que nous allons traversé et d'établir un bilan de leurs besoins urgents en terme d'infrastructure, de soins, d'éducations, de nourriture et d'encadrements (la plupart du temps ce sera rapide car ils n'ont pas grand chose voir rien !).
Fort de ces informations nous voulons mettre en relation des associations humanitaires, ONG et associations d'aide à l'enfance adaptés aux besoins vitaux et urgents de ces orphelinats.
Nous sommes donc à la recherche d'associations prètent à "jouer le jeux" qui aimeraient s'investir localement dans ces pays pour venir en aide à ces gamins oubliés...
Il est évident que nous refuserons tout contact avec des organismes qui auraient l'idée de se servir de nous à des fins d'enlèvements, d'adoptions forcés ou de tout méfaits répugnant à l'égard de ces enfants.
Nous ne demandons rien en échange mais simplement de l'aide pour ces enfants alors n'hésitez pas à faire passer le message...

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
