Etudiante française, je commence un doctorat en septembre à Québec sur le génocide tutsi. (Doctorat un peu spécial, car je suis en littérature et arts de la scène). Je cherche donc à partir quatre mois minimum au Rwanda durant l'année scolaire 2007/2008, plus précisément de aout 2007 à décembre 2007 ( dates modulabes).
Je souhaiterais partir dans un cadre associatif, afin de vivre ce voyage hors du carcan universitaire et touristique, en m'intégrant à un projet construit et constructif.
Je possède une experience conséquente dans le domaine de l'enfance et serais interessée par de l'intervention en orphelinat ou en école. Disons que c'est dans ce milieu que je me sens le plus à l'aise et dans lequel je serai certainement le plus utile, mais je suis tout à fait prête à m'intégrer à un projet autre si j'y trouve ma place.
Si vous avez quelque indice pour la préparation de mon périple, une structure qui vous vient à l'esprit, j'en serai très heureuse.

Je suis en effet très désireuse de partir en Afrique et le Rwanda fait parti des pays auquels je m'intéresse beaucoup. J'ai de plus une formation BAFA et apprécie beaucoup l'animation et m'occuper d'enfants. J'aimerais savoir si vous avez eu une expérience dans ce pays et de plus, si vous avez fini votre mémoire ça m'intéresserais beaucoup de le lire.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
