je suis partie avec une ong belge au bénin l'été passé (2006) et depuis je n'ai qu'une envie, y retourner.
Avec un amis on compte y retourner en 08 mais on aimerait trouver une association locale (du côté d'abomey de préférence) pour travailler bénévolement.
Alors si vous connaissez des associations sérieuses et sympas çà ferait avancer un peu notre projet.

Nous sommes allés au Bénin en juillet 2006 et avons visité une école au Nord de PortoNovo. Nous avons été fort ému et avons ait connaissance avec le directeur et les instituteurs. Nous avons mis en route un projet de construction de bâtiments et d'autres aides pour cette école et nous cherchons des jeunes de confiance pour vérifier l'avancement des travaux. Nous ne sommes pas une ONG, n'avons aucun frais de fonctionnement, ni aucun intermédiaire... 1€ gagné est 1€ donné.

Je me présente: je suis bénino-allemande, Directrice d'une ONG locale qui oeuvre dans les domaines santé, éducation et oeuvres sociales. nous avons un orphelinat, un centre de santé et organisons des campagnes de sensibilisation et autres projets. il faudrait être plus détailée sur les aptitudes, formation professionnelle, disponibilité et durée du séjour. quelle sont vos attentes et le financement nécessaires. je préside une association soutenant foiancipremetn le prigramme RBC (réinsertion à base communautaire de personnes handicapée) ils n'ont pas d'orphelinat mais de jeune enfants recoivent des soins de longues durées dans des centres très éloignés du dpomicile, ce qui pose des problèmes d'accompagnement par la mère. il y a peut-être la un débouché. ily a également proche de cotonou un centre d'acueil pour les enfants en bas âge la fondation regard d'amour. je voous propose de me contacter au moyen d'un message privé. un cv et une lettre de motivation me permettait de vérifier si mes contacts corespondent à vos atentes, auquel cas je vous communiquerait les coordonnées de nos partenaires.

Je suis très intérssée par un voyage humanitaire au Bénin pour l'été 2008. En effet je suis en préparation au concours de psychomotricité et je suis libre à parti du 20 mai. I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
