Je veux partir en Afrique début 2007 avec mon ami. On se fait refouler des grandes ong, type croix-rouge car on est un couple. On veut partir pour aider à un projet humanitaire (construction d'une école, d'un puit....) Mon copain est électricien depuis 10 ans, c'est dire si c'est son rayon...
Moi, je suis assistante de direction, spécialisée en RH.
Bref, on est hyper motivé, on veut apprendre beaucoup de ce peuple et de ce pays et on a besoin d'un coup de pouss pour trouver la bonne ONG.

J'ai bien l'impression qu'on pourrait faire quelque chose ensemble, bien que nous ne construisions pas de bâtiments (ils savent déjà faire).
Depuis 1992, nous accompagnons les populations rurales dans l'élaboration, la mise en place et la pérennisation de leurs projets de mieux-vivre local au Sénégal. Les laissant maitres d'oeuvre de leurs projets, nous répondons à leurs demandes de formations et d'informations. Nous créons des réseaux de mutualités de compétences. Nous travaillons avec des structures locales liées au développement (activités agricoles, maraîchères (aspect environnement pris en compte), métiers de l'artisanat, de la formation/éducation, de la santé et du tourisme équitable et solidaire).
Vos compétences à tous 2 peuvent trouver leur place dans nos actions avec les populations.

Aurélie, je suis instit et je travaille depuis trois ans avec des écoles béninoises. Outre la correspondance scolaire nous avons construit trois salles de classe près d'Adjohoun au Bénin, nous avons une autre école en construction, nous avons mis en place une cantine scolaire pour 30 orphelins.. Nous sommes une toute petite asso "Aide Ecoles Bénin". Je pourrai effectivement contacté les instits sur place pour savoir si on peut amener le courant dans leur école et dans quelles conditions.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
