Je me questionne pour mon choix d'hôtel et de destination!
J'adore faire de l'apnée directement à partir de la plage de l'hôtel. J'en suis à mon 7 ième voyage à Cuba et j'ai fait des 3 étoiles autant que des 4.5.
Jhésite beaucoup entre le Mémories Jibacoa, le Iberostar Ensenachos (Cayo Santa Maria) ou le Playa Pesquero à Holguin.
Mon conjoint en sera à son premier voyage à Cuba. Il est allé une fois au Mexique par le passé et a beaucoup aimé : bonne nourriture et beaucoup d'activité : apnée, visite ruine maya, etc.
Les prix jouent dans les 1000$ pour une semaine actuellement: départ le 18 novembre idéalement, au pire le 2 décembre .
Que me conseillez-vous entre les 3? ou autre suggestion....
J'aimerais que l'expérience soit positive pour mon conjoint. Tout en me permettant de faire de l'apnée! Ce que j'adore.
Également, pensez vous que les prix vont descendre pour cette période? je me rappelle avoir payé 680$ en octobre 2013 pour le Riu Playa Turquesa et 720$ pour le Memories Flamenco Cayo Coco en novembre 2014.... Je trouve que 1000$ c'est cher, mais p-e est-ce la nouvelle norme?
Pour l'apnée, Memories Jibacoa est de très loin supérieur aux autres. Vous avez un beau récif corallien qui s'étend sur plusieurs centaines de mètres, accessible du rivage. L'hôtel est très sympa et tout est facilement accessible. J'y retourne pour la quatrième fois. L'Ensenachos est beaucoup plus luxueux, plus étendu, avec de très grandes chambres, mais il n'y a que deux très petits coins pour faire de l'apnée: devant le hangar à bateaux et vers la droite, dans une toute petite épave de bateau. Très décevant... Le Pesquero avait un beau coin pour l'apnée à son ouverture, mais les coraux sont maintenant abîmés. Il faut mieux aller à Jibacoa.
Merci beaucoup pour les précisions, il me reste à discuter avec mon conjoint de ses préférences. Jibacoa semble selon les commentaires sur le site, être isolé. Donc, beaucoup d'apnée, mais peu d'excursion...
Je viens de voir que Iberostar Daiquiri à Cayo coco est à 847$.... le prix est intéressant, les commentaires sont relativement bons. Pour l'apnée, qq1 sait si on peut en faire directement de la plage? ou sinon quels sont les meilleurs «spots» à Cayo Coco. Je me souviens qu'il y aurait une possibilité d'excursion en apnée via la plage Playa pilar. Quand j'étais allée à Cayo Coco en 2013, il n'avait pas fait suffisament beau à Playa Pillar. Il ventait ++++ et le centre nautique avait fermé ces activités en raison des vagues et eau trouble.
Effectivement, Jibacoa est isolé. Mais vous avez des randonnées accompagnées gratuites dans la forêt deux ou trois fois par semaines. Vous pouvez également prendre un taxi guide pour aller à la Havane: 45-50 minutes pour y aller. Le guide peut rester avec vous toute la journée et vous faire visiter la vieille Havane, son architecture coloniale, ses musées... Cela nous coute environ 70 pesos pour toute la journée, de 8-22:00 et nous offrons au conducteur son repas. Vous pouvez aussi aller en taxi à Playa lors artistas pour faire de l'apnée différente.
CAyo Coco est beaucoup plus isolé... C'est un îlot au large de Cuba. La plage est très belle, étroite, avec du beau sable blanc, mais il vente beaucoup et choisissez un hôtel avec suffisamment de palapas, car il n'y a pas vraiment d'arbres pour protéger du soleil. Il n'y a aucune bonne apnée à y faire directement du rivage, car il y a très peu de coraux, sauf en allant vers le Melia, qui est éloigné.
Mais nous sommes des passionnés de snorkeling, et en vacances, nous en raison deux fois 2-3 heures par jour...

I’d like to book an all-inclusive trip next April. My criteria: 1) no sargassum, 2) 4 stars or higher, 3) ability to snorkel right from the hotel beach, and 4) safe.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
