Hi there, we’re taking this cruise from September 27 to October 4, 2025.

Could you share your experience on board—cabin, meals, etc.?

Are there any other members on this cruise between September 7 and October 4, 2025?

See you soon, Alexandre

Hello, We were on the Renaissance from 03/31/25 to 04/11/25. We had an ocean-view cabin, spacious with a sofa, desk, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Only the interior cabins have a shower, and just a few ocean-view cabins do. A human-sized ship (maximum 1,100 passengers). Meals at the "Belle Île" buffet or in a restaurant listed in the daily program. There’s a good variety of dishes, but some are served every day. At the buffet, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, and fruit juice are available from dispensers and are free. Activities offered during the day. Evening shows in the theater (two times: 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM). During our cruise, we had some interesting conferences, including one given by the Captain about the Renaissance ship. There are shops on board, a spa, hairdresser, and beauticians. French-speaking crew and passengers. There are plenty of lounges to relax in, listen to music, read with a well-stocked library. No casino. Indoor pool near the buffet, jacuzzis, and a small outdoor pool, both with sun loungers. There’s a space on Deck 6 for doing laundry (washing machines and dryers). You can buy detergent on the ship or bring your own. Using the machines is free. I think Catherine on this site did a whole report with photos during the Renaissance’s open house... Great cruise! Hi there,

A huge thank you for this really interesting and motivating review.

Positive feedback gets rarer over time, which is why I’m looking for recent details.

We’ll have a cabin with a balcony.

Thanks so much for the review: *A Day Visit on the Renaissance in May 2025*. I realized I’d already read this one. We’ll see how we form our own opinion, which I’ll post here.

See you soon, Alexandre

Hi Alexandre,

I forgot to tell you that it was "quieter" on the Renaissance than on MSC/COSTA: no announcements all day about activities, no loud music, no "wacky" entertainment. We’ve booked another cruise with CFC for 2026 with complete confidence. Looking forward to your feedback, have a great cruise: Guylène

Hi there.

Thanks so much for your feedback.

I forgot to mention that it was "quieter" on the Renaissance than on MSC/COSTA: no announcements all day about activities, no loud music, no "over-the-top" entertainment.

That’s exactly what we’re looking for—fewer kids and a peaceful vibe. See you soon, Alexandre
