Je souhaite travailler dans l'humanitaire, mais je ne connais pas beaucoup ce secteur à l'heure actuelle, j'éspère que vous serez nombreux à pouvoir me conseiller, m'orienter....
J'ai 31 ans, je viens de passer 6 ans dans la grande distribution. Mes principales compétences sont l'approvisionnement ( responsable de l'appro d'un Hyper de 8000m2, puis responsable appro régional), la logistique ( quelques notions), la formation, le développement de projets.
Je suis titulaire d'un Bac G3 et d'un BTS Commerce internationnal.

Je ne cherche pas a y travailler pour une courte durée, je souhaite m'y investir sur la longueur, mais pas un poste fixe en particulier. Travailler sur diverses missions, peu importe la durée, mais offrir mes compétences à ceux qui en ont besoin.
Avec le background que tu as, tu ne devrais pas avoir trop de problèmes à partir comme logisticienne. Cela dit, la logistique humanitaire, ça inclut pas mal de choses : les appros bien sûr (avec leur corollaire souvent pesant : le dédouanement), mais aussi la gestion d'un parc de véhicules, la réhabilitation de bâtiments, l'installation de radios, la gestion de la sécurité, etc. Il faut avant tout être polyvalent et avoir l'esprit pratique. Après, il y a presque autant de profils de postes que de missions.
Si tu es vraiment motivée pour faire plusieurs années de mission, tu peux envisager de suivre une formation Bioforce à Lyon ou Ifaid à Bordeaux.
Toutes les grosses ONG (MSF, ACF, MDM, HI, etc) recherchent en permanence des logisticiens. En moyenne pour des missions de 6 mois à 1 an, mais des durées plus courtes peuvent être envisageables : lors de campagnes de vaccination, par exemple. Des durées plus longues aussi, mais en général on commence par un an.
Voilà quelques pistes. Va jeter un oeil sur les sites des ONG, sur Coordination Sud ( http://www.coordinationsud.org ) ou Expats Network ( http://www.expatsnetwork.com ) et tu sauras un peu mieux où te situer.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
