Suite à vos précieux conseils et la lecture de nombreuses discussions déjà sur le site, j'ai hésité un petit moment moment entre le Barcelo Solymar et le Villa Cuba pour mon voyage en solo en août (probablement le 16). J'ai fait 7 voyages dans le sud mais celui-ci sera mon premier toute seule comme une grande. Ça ne m'inquiète pas vraiment.. je me trouverai bien du monde avec qui socialiser! Donc j'ai finalement choisi le Villa Cuba... tout simplement car c'est 300$ de moins que le Solymar (et oui... budget importe).

J'ai été à Villa Cuba en avril-mai- et juin dernier 😏 ... j'ai bien aimer cet hotel et crois moi tu ne restera pas seul tres longtemps. Les Villa sont bien et l'air climatisé fonctionne beaucoup mieux que dans les chambre mais coté sécurité à ta place j'opterais pour une chambre ...

Ma crainte était que se soit bruyant dans la section chambre à cause de la piscine
Mais d'un autre côté on est proche de tout... et c'est un peu moisn cher qu'en vilia :)
En section chambre... as-tu un étage ou une section à me recommander?

Ce que je veux dire par coté sécurité c que les chemin menant au villa sont très sombre le soir et les agent de sécurité sont assez fatiguant merci !!! ... ma copine un soir est entrée dans sa villa et dans le salon (salon commun) et bien un des agent se la coulais douce devant la télé avec sa petite biere dans les main !!! j'ai entendu plusieurs d'autre histoire mais bon va savoir si c vrai ...moi J'aimais mieux pas prendre de chance..... Coté bruit et bien je crois avoir été chanceuse car j'ai jamais eu de probleme de ce coté. J'ai bien aimer le niveau du lobby si je me trompe pas c dans les 2000
Personnellement, lorsque j'ai été à cet hôtel, j'ai bien aimé ma chambre qui était au même niveau que le lobby mais le plus loin possible pour avoir le moins de bruit possible et c'était très tranquille et propre.Ma chambre était la 1418 et la section 1413 à 1418 est une bonne section pour les chambres.
Moi, j'ai eu une très mauvauise expérience à Villa Cuba(il y a 2 ans!!)...j'avais demandé une chambre dans une villa rénovée...le problème c'est qu'elle avait été rénovée...avant l'arrivée de Fidel castro à Cuba...on nous avait donné la 1er villa face à la mer...seulement, c'était le salon commun à 6 ou 7 chambres qui donnaient sur la mer...nOtre chambre éTAIt au fond du couloir avec pour seulE sortie ce couloir...une fen^tre...qui donnait sur les vidanges...en fin, à la vue de cette chambre, nous sommes retournés à la ''réception''(à ce moment là, l'hôtel était en rénovations et la réception était dans une chAMbre), on nous a donné une autre chambre dans la section villa...avec balcon commun(désagréable, mais pas si grave!!!)...seulement, une prise de courant pour toute la chambre, alors si tu voulais la lumière de la lampe, tu devais débrancher la télé..(OU LE CONTRAIRE)...POUR LE RASOIR ÉLECTRIQUE(DE MON CONJOINT)MÊME CHOSE, ON DEVAIT DÉPLACER LA TÉLÉ...LA TABLE DE CHEVET EST TOMBÉE QUAND ON Y A DÉPOSÉ UN LIVRE....TOUT ÇA , CE N'EST PAS UNE BLAGUE...APRÈS UNE NUIT PASSÉE DANS CE LIT(OU NOUS AVONS RESSNTI TOUS LES RESSORTS DU MATELAS), NOUS AVONS DEMANDÉ À AVOIR UNE CHAMBRE DANS L'HÔTEL...BEAUCOUP MIEUX...MAIS IL PARAIT QUE CERTAINES VILLAS POSSEDENT MEME LEUR PROPRE PISCINE...À TOI DE VOIR....MOI, JE NE RETOURNERAIS PAS DANS CET HOTEL(JE ME SUIS FAIT TRANSFÉRER AU bARCELO sOLYMAR POUR 300$PAR PERSONNE)NOUS ÉTIONS LÀ POUR 2 SEMAINES..ÇA A VRAIMENT VALU LE COUP.
PAR CONTRE, IL Y A DES GENS QUI ONT BEAUCOUP AIMÉ CET HOTEL, CAR NOUS Y AVIONS ÉTÉ RÉFÉRÉ....À CUBA C'EST COMME ÇA...EN L'ESPACE DE QUELQUES MOIS, TOUT PEUT CHANGER...C'EST SUR QUE ÇA A CHANGÉ DEPUIS QUE J'Y SUIS ALLÉE...L'HOTEL A ÉTÉ RÉNOVÉ...QUAND J'Y SUIS ALLÉE, RIEN N'ÉTAIT OUVERT...UN SEUL BAR...CELUI PRES DE LA PISCINE(PAS DE LOBBY, DONC PAS DE LOBBY BAR) AH OUI!IL Y AVAIT LA DISO AU 7EME ÉTAGE OUVERTE LE SOIR SEULEMENT...LA MER PAR CONTRE EST TRÈS BELLE, LA PLAGE AUSSI...BON VOYAGE!!!

Je m'inquiète pas trop pour la "qualité" de l'hôtel puisque ceux qui y ont été récemment semblent avori apprécié
Et faut dire qu'en période de rénovation (comme quant tu y es allée Laurendeaufr)... tout est un peu chamboulé
Mais je vais suivre les recommandations de la "famille" et y aller en formule chambre et non en villa

I’d like to book an all-inclusive trip next April. My criteria: 1) no sargassum, 2) 4 stars or higher, 3) ability to snorkel right from the hotel beach, and 4) safe.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

However, online, I’ve found two sites for making this reservation:
The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
