J'envisage un départ en volontariat, je postule pour des VSI, mais sachant que les chances sont faibles d'être recrutés, je me penche sur des solutions alternatives mais tout aussi intelligentes.
Je suis en contact avec une asso de "volontariat équitable", appelée DSF - Développement Sans Frontières.
Je voulais savoir si qqun la connaissait ou si certains d'entre vous étaient partis en mission via ce système, que je trouve intéressant. www.developpementsansfrontieres.org
Mes compétences sont tournées plutôt sur de la gestion de projet, développement local et touristique. J'ai un Bac+5.

Salut..pour vous dire qu'avec les compétences que vous avez, un pays comme le Burkina Faso serait une bonne destination, encore vous faut il trouver une association..je n'en connais pas pour le moment mais je peux chercher si ca vous intéresse de faire du volontariat au Burkina..en fait jsuis incrit sur ce site depuis quelques mois..je fais des études en sociologie et je compte d'ailleurs faire mon mémoire de maîtrise sur l'intervention des volontaires étrangers au Burkina...j'ai déjà commencé à faire des lectures sur ce sujet, je finis mes cours bientôt et je me lance réellement dédans...au plaisir..

Il est vrai que c'est très bien cadré, notamment réglementé par l'Etat, au niveau des couvertures sociales, et par rapport au retour aussi.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
