Hi everyone,
I’m afraid this is a pretty standard question, but one I haven’t really found an answer to! I’m looking for accommodation in Singapore for two nights in mid-March. I know "reasonable price" can mean anything and nothing —I realize staying here isn’t cheap. But if anyone has a good recommendation, I’d love to hear it!
I’ll be traveling mostly in backpacker mode, but I don’t want a youth hostel. That said, I’m fine with something a bit out of the way.
Thanks in advance! 🙂
Hi! I land at Changi Airport in Singapore on December 1st and take a direct flight to Chiang Mai later the same day, but I can only find pretty steep prices—like 250 € for a 3-hour nonstop with Scoot. Anyone have a tip for finding something cheaper?
Thanks so much! First trip in 6 years!!!! Prices have doubled... ugh :
Hi there,
We’re arriving in Singapore for 3 days before heading to Malaysia. We wanted to start with the south of the east coast and make our way north, but transfers from Singapore are complicated. Has anyone been to Tioman Island? How did you get there? I saw a route involving a bus and car. Has anyone taken a Grab for this trip to avoid switching transport modes, especially since we have luggage and kids? 🙂 Thanks—I’m open to all your tips, since we don’t want to rent a car and we’d like to head up to the Perhentians afterward.
Thanks so much!
Chris

Hi there,
We're heading back for another trip to Asia. We've already been to Singapore in... 2008. Let's just say things have changed since then. We'll be arriving in February, either from Bangkok or Siem Reap in Cambodia. We have great memories of it. What are the must-sees these days? I can't wait to see what I think was a hotel under construction back in 2008 (it looks like a boat perched up high—I can't send a photo with 2000 pixels).
Thanks in advance!

I’ll be in Singapore for half a day and one evening in March. What do you recommend I see? I was thinking of Garden by the Bay, Cloud Forest, Flower Dome, the OCBC Skyway, and an evening show: Garden Rhapsody and Spectra. End the evening at "Ce La Vi". Does this itinerary seem doable? Any advice is welcome. Thanks
