Climate and weather
The area has a typical Mediterranean climate with dry, hot summers. Even though average summer temperatures hover around 30°C, the proximity to the sea significantly softens the heat compared to, for example, inland continental Spain. Winters are mild and pleasant, with temperatures often around 15°C. Rainfall is scarce, except for a little at the end or beginning of the year, and winds are more common from October to April.
