For French Citizens

A passport valid for at least 6 months after entry into the country and a tourist visa/card are required. Since late 2019, applications can only be made online via the approved site. In practice, it is no longer possible to obtain a visa on arrival (including at airports) or to apply through Surinamese representations abroad, starting with the consulates in Cayenne or Saint-Laurent in French Guiana.
