The town enjoys a sunny oceanic climate, pleasant year-round. Summers are warm but not excessively hot thanks to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, while winters are mild and slightly humid. Rainfall is mostly concentrated at the end and beginning of the year. Overall, the destination is climatically pleasant almost any time, though the shoulder seasons are still the best choice—if only to avoid the summer crowds.
