Airports in Medellín
The Medellín metropolitan area has two airports:
- Olaya Herrera Airport: located on the outskirts of Medellín, this airport is "specialized" almost exclusively in domestic flights within the country.
- José María Córdova Airport: this is the city’s main international airport, handling over 6 million passengers per year.
