Airports in Milan

The city of Milan has two airports, and even a third if you include nearby Bergamo Airport.

  • Milan Malpensa Airport: This is the main airport in the Milan metropolitan area, with over 20 million passengers per year and many long-haul flights.
  • Milan Linate Airport: Officially Milan’s second airport, it specializes in domestic and European traffic.
  • Caravaggio Airport Bergamo Orio al Serio: Around fifty kilometers from Milan, it is considered the third airport in the metropolitan area. It primarily handles low-cost flights (especially Ryanair) and seasonal holiday flights.
