Climate and weather in Fornells
The area has a typical Mediterranean climate with dry, sunny, and hot summers. Even though average summer temperatures hover around 30°C, the proximity to the sea significantly softens the heat compared to, for example, inland continental Spain. Winters are mild and pleasant, with temperatures often around 15°C. Rainfall is scarce, except for a little at the start and end of the year, and winds are more common from October to April.
The period from May to early October is the best climatically for exploring Ibiza. That said, despite the good weather, July and August do have the major drawback of being extremely crowded.
