Urban Bus
The city has an urban bus service run by Omsa, operating from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM in the city and outskirts. A ticket costs a maximum of 10 RD$. In addition, you’ll find the guaguas system—shared taxis or motoconchos—offering very affordable fares.
Metro
Since 2009, Santo Domingo has had a metro with two lines crossing the city and serving key activity centers. A ticket costs 20 RD$.
